This renovated cozy bungalow is approximately a 6-minute drive to the heart of our historic downtown Bristol VA/TN, a 6-minute drive to the Bristol VA Casino, roughly a 20-minute drive to Bristol Motor Speedway & easy access to the interstate. Downtown Bristol VA/ TN offers a variety of unique local restaurants, craft breweries, & shopping. One of our most special places downtown is the coveted Blackbird Bakery. In addition, the start of the beautiful Creeper Trail, in Abingdon VA, is just a 20-minute drive from this property. Bristol also offers other lovely parks, shopping, and attractions. The Pinnacle Shopping area is an easy 10-minute drive through town for a large variety of retail stores, restaurants, & entertainment. Bristol Motor Speedway is approximately 20 minutes away, depending on traffic. Starting in Nov, they offer Speedway in Lights with a 4-mile trek through 2 million lights. We completely renovated this home that has been in the family for many years. We built a back deck & added patio seating & a gas grill. We recently expanded the deck to make one end larger & will add steps leading to the backyard. We have also recently (July 2023) added a section of privacy fence to make the backyard feel more cozy. The kitchen offers almost anything you would need to prepare a meal. We also have a Keurig with some complimentary pods. Seating for eating is at the island & bar stools, or outside on the deck. We have WIFI & a TV in the main living area, and one in the loft, but we DO NOT have satellite or cable. Feel free to use your Netflix account. The full bathroom is located just off the living area on the main floor & offers a jet tub & shower. We also have a washer & dryer for guests to use if needed. But we certainly don't mind at all if our guests need to text or call to reach us quicker. Please book with the proper number of guests so that we can prepare appropriately. We do not have child safety features. There are no storm doors, the back door has long blinds, (but they are cordless). There is a standing mirror in the main bedroom & there are small decorative items that are within reach of a young child. This is a small house (approx 1,110 sq ft total)
