Dedicated work space area. Charming living area. There is a washing machine in the bathroom. A dryer is available in the communal laundry downstairs (accepts card payment only). There is a clothes rack/airer in the Apartment. We provide you with fresh towels and all bed linen. There will be a small Starter Kit supplied with some tea bags, coffee sticks, sugar sticks, biscuits and a 1ltr milk. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, handwash, 4 toilet rolls, paper towels and tissueswill also be provided along with basic cleaning supplies, laundry liquid, dishwashing liquid and bin bags. The kitchen is equipped with cutlery, plates, cooking utensils, kettle, pod coffee machine, toaster, stove, oven, microwave and a bar fridge (no freezer) - big enough to easily hold several days worth of food. No stair access from the front of the Complex but it is 1 level down to car bays, the bin area and washing line area below. There is no elevator. Located a short walking distance from the main entrance to Kings Park. Ideal for holidays, Corporate stays, University and Hospital stays, and also self isolation stays. The Complex is safe and secure. Although Malcolm Street is an older style building, it is clean and well maintained. Guest access Parking - Parking is not included in the rate at Malcolm street. Parking is very limited and needs to be booked. Please ask if parking is available before booking your Accommodation. The parking bay is shared between short term apartments in the complex. There is a height limit of 2mtrs as the car bay is under the building - so some 4WD’s with roof racks may not fit. You can secure this bay with a payment to be paid up front at the time of booking your apartment. Once booked, the bay is solely yours for the duration of your stay. It is under cover in a secure locked gate area underneath the building of 45 Malcolm Street. One floor below street level. The local area The apartment is within walking distance to the Perth CBD and shopping mall precinct. We are a quick 5 min stroll into the City of Perth. A 5 min walk in the other direction will take you up to the famous Kings Park. The Swan River is also within walking distance. How to get around 1 min walk to the bus stop and to the free cat bus stop for the Green route. 15 min walk to 2 train line stations – Fremantle & Mandurah. 15 min walk to 2 bus port stations - the City bus port at The Esplanade and Wellington Street. Perth has a fantastic transport system that will connect you to other places of interest which include Fremantle, Crawley, Subiaco, Claremont, Cottesloe Beach and Leederville. The Transperth Airport bus 37 will take you to our door daily. Distance: 21.3km Time: 27min (approx) from Perth International Airport. Bus 24 will take you past The New Children’s Hospital & Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and The University of Western Australia. Other things to note Not suitable for children due to the stairs.
