Description

REGISTRATION NUMBER: 302663 This beautiful urban and rustic chalet is located in the Lac à May area in Entrelacs, 1 hour 15 minutes from Montreal. It is built directly on the shores of Lac à May – a 40-foot deep headwater lake with no motorboats. You will access it by a private road that leads you to the heart of the forest, only 5 minutes from the village of Entrelacs and all its amenities. Hot tub, pedal boat, kayaks and much more will be waiting for you. The space Located on a large lot of more than 70,000 square feet, the cottage itself, brand new and urban in style, has generous windows that let in plenty of daylight. On the ground floor, the entrance with cloakroom opens onto the spacious dining room, which can accommodate 6 people. A large patio door leads you to the three-season veranda, beautifully appointed with corner sofas, armchairs and BBQ area (propane gas, which operates year-round). The kitchen, very modern, with island, includes dishwasher, microwave, toaster and a filter coffee maker, high chair for baby, and dishes in sufficient quantity for 12 people. On the same level you have a full bathroom with a modern design, bathtub and shower; a beautiful closed bedroom with queen size bed and large window with lake view. The ground floor also opens widely on the lake side and gives access to a large wooden patio with picnic table and umbrella. It includes a large living room with a sofa bed and two closed bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a bunk bed, double at the bottom and single at the top. It is on this level that you will find an HD TV (not wired) with a BLUERAY player with a choice of DVDs, a Bluetooth speaker that you can plug into your own devices, board games for winter evenings. This floor also has a shower room and a washer-dryer at your disposal. You have direct access from the cottage to a private dock as well as a kayak and a pedal boat with life jackets in 2 medium sizes and 2 adult sizes. The Domaine du Lac-à-May is a peaceful and enchanting place. Free parking on site for 4 vehicles only. Guest access Entire accommodation Other things to note Caution!!! Attention!!! Attention!!! 4x4 or AWD motor vehicle with good snow and ice tires highly recommended for the winter season (1 November to 15 April) approximately. 1. There are big slopes to go up and down. We also recommend good winter tires in good condition. Small compact cars like the Nissan Versa, Toyota Yaris, or other compact city cars won't be able to ride in the winter and sometimes in the middle of the summer. You can park at the bottom of the slope and walk up. Bring sleds to take your luggage. We will not be responsible if you do not consider our recommendations. Provide aids, sands, salts, and other gadgets for driving in the winter. We do not have any equipment to pull your car if it is stuck in the snow. 2. The main roads to the cottage are paved, but the secondary paths are gravel, so if you have a luxury or low vehicle, the rocks can scratch your car. 3. The presence of small rodents on the ground or sometimes even inside the cottages is possible, but rest assured that we use exterminators and all kinds of means to keep them out. We are the intruders in their natural habitat. Keep the cottage and car doors closed at all times to prevent rodents from entering. 4. You can move the furniture during your stay, but please put them back in their original place when you check out. 5. Watercraft will be available from May 1st to November 1st. 6. The Spa is available 12 months of the year. *** Please note that you do not leave the hot tub lid open if you did not use it, the reason is that the water evaporates much faster and there is a high risk of the water heater breakage or the entire unit. *** Please note that if we consider spa water to be changed due to abuse of use and non-compliance with regulations, additional fees up to $250 may apply. 7. No outside noise after 9 p.m. The deposit will be kept if we receive a complaint from a neighbor and is justified. 8. Any additional guest not declared before check-in will be charged a fee of $50 per night even if the total number of people does not exceed 6. 9. Camping wood is unfortunately not provided. 10. Propane gas for BBQ is not provided during the winter. 11. Attention!!! Attention!!! Attention!!! The bathroom in the basement works with a submersible pump system, so it's extremely important not to put wet towels, or toilet paper so as not to block the pump, this repair can cost up to 2000$ or even flooded the entire basement. Thank you for understanding, but above all for your cooperation. 12. Satisfaction Policy: Any issues or dissatisfaction during the stay will need to be reported to the host before your departure so that we can correct the situation or offer compensation if warranted. No compensation will be offered if you make a complaint after leaving the premises. 13. Currently there is no air conditioning installed in the property, but several ceiling fans are installed.
