The AFB is a research and development base and is not a full active airport, you will hear taps, revelry and announcements of severe weather approaching. A short 15 min drive to I-70 if your planning trips into Columbus ( 45 min ) or Dayton ( 30 min ) . Downtown Fairborn hosts many event nights and festivals during the year with the most popular being St. Patrick’s day and Halloween. The space Large bedroom has a king size bed , second bedroom has a full size bed Guest access Access is the main floor of the house , no stairs other than at the front or side porches.
