The second parking lot is 100 euro per 7 days. The space The grounds surround the villa and are beautifully maintained, with attractive shrubs and trees, and flowering container plants. There is an inviting private pool (7m x 3m, 1.20m deep), open from April until the end of October. Next to the pool lie sun loungers, deck chairs and an outdoor shower for lazy afternoons in the sun. You will also find a brick barbeque, large outdoor dining table and chairs, plus comfortable sofa and armchairs in which to relax. Children are well catered for, with toys including a small slide. Care has been taken to ensure the safety of children; for example the original well is capped to prevent accidents. Inside, the villa has a modern, spacious feel, with airy white walls and cool tiles underfoot. At around 250m2, you will find plenty of room to spread out and find your own space. On entering through French doors from the terrace, you find yourself in the open plan living area downstairs, with each space connected by large arched doorways, allowing the breeze to flow freely on a hot summer day. The sitting area has two large sofas and an armchair and a lovely fireplace for cooler evenings. There is a TV with satellite channels, a DVD player and a CD player with a radio, plus free Wifi throughout the villa. There is a large dining table for ten. From here you move through to the well equipped kitchen, with six gas rings, an electric oven, a fridge freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and an Italian coffee maker. There is a smaller dining table for four. The laundry area is adjacent to the kitchen and offers a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Double doors from the kitchen lead out to the terrace. There is also a double bedroom on the ground floor, accessed via the living room. This has a double bed, air conditioning unit, and a window with a lovely view of the garden. The en suite bathroom has a wash basin, toilet and roomy enclosed shower. The wide tiled staircase leads you to the first floor, where there are four further bedrooms, three double rooms and one with twin beds. The twin bedroom has a double and single bed, plus access to the balcony. A family bathroom lies off the landing and has a washbasin, toilet, enclosed shower and air conditioning. There is central heating throughout the villa for chillier times of the year, charged according to use at 5.00 Euros per hour. It is easily possible to stay at Villa Serena without a car, but should you choose to bring one, there is one reserved free space. Within moments of leaving the villa, you will find yourself in the charming centre of Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, where you will find great restaurants, tempting shops and public transport to the highlights of the region.
