Stylish "Hide Away" near Berlin

For three years, we spent most of our time sprucing up the old "Cloppenburg Villa" ourselves. Since 2021, it has finally been able to welcome guests. Located on the outskirts of Rüdnitz, we are right here by the forest, which adjoins the Biesenthaler Becken nature reserve. Swimming lakes, bike and hiking trails invite you to enjoy an active vacation. Come to rest and breathe far away from the hustle and bustle of Berlin, which can, however, be reached within 30 minutes (from the train station) by regional train or your own car. The space Our guest apartment is partly located in the attic of the former barn and partly on the upper floor of the main building. It impresses with its imposing ceiling height of a good 7 m in the living and dining area. If you look up here, four roof surfaces meet. It almost gives the impression of standing in a wooden cathedral. You can relax here or work in peace and seclusion. In addition to bike tours and long hikes, the swimming lakes lure you out into the fresh air. Rüdnitz alone has three riding stables and golfers will also get their money's worth (in and around Berlin there are 18 golf courses alone.) In general, we have placed great emphasis on ecological building materials and good design at our construction site. The interior spans the arc from the year of construction of the house (1917) to the present and was partly designed and manufactured by ourselves. Finds that fell into our hands during the construction phase tell a little about the history of the house. Guest access We ourselves live with our two dogs and children on the first floor of the main building and use the courtyard interior. As guests, however, you have your own staircase (which you share with our tenant) and are therefore private. In addition, there is a part of the garden (outside courtyard), which can be used by our guests and very sporadically also by our very nice tenant. There is now a covered dining area with a fireplace and privacy screen for privacy. Other things to note The double bed has a length of 1.90 m, the remaining beds are 2m long. The sleeping area in the attic is open (so does not have its own door). There are blackout options in bedroom 1 in the form of sliding shutters. Dryer and washing machine can be found in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the dryer isn't working right now, but we're working on it. Since November 2022, our apartment now also has a fireplace. As small as Rüdnitz is, there are three farm shops here. Vegetables, meat, eggs and sometimes (depending on availability) cheese, juice and honey are therefore within walking distance – all organic, all regional ;) Also available in the village: an Edeka Nahkauf. A charging box with 22kw charging capacity is available for electric cars. Consumption is charged separately.
