Lake Michigan cedar shake cottage. Key word - Cottage ! This lovelyhome is bright, full of antiques, the screen door slams and the oven is from the 1930's. The waterfront pulls you right in, bonfires, guitars, a porch to grill and big yard to play. Four blocks from downtown Northport, you can nearly smell Barbs Bakery's famous cinnamon twists. We love sharing our property. Those who visit become family. A unique and relaxing stay guaranteed. The space The property is owned by a bunch of sailors ! My father, lives in a lofted apartment on one the south side of the property, while my 3 year old son and I stay in a separate loft on the North side. We stay very busy during the summer months but are in and out and can help you with anything you need ! There is an Aussie Shepard who roams the property and offers only love. There is generous space in the house, and a large yard. Space for volleyball, tents, dogs, bonfires, all to yourself. The house is fully functioning, good wifi, roku tv, air conditioned bed rooms, laundry, plenty of parking in driveway and on street. Sandy waterfront, 2 beach cruiser bikes available. Other things to note The cottage is set up beautifully for 6. It is still cozy with 8 guests when using the downstairs day bed / trundle. Max occupancy 10, recommended for groups with kids or groups who don't mind sharing spaces ! We ARE pet friendly, and our Aussie Shepard loves company. It is very very important to us however, that when you depart there is no trace of your animal. We respect our guests who are not interested in pets or may be allergic. Leaving the house fresh and tidy of any hair or scents is very important to us and it is up to you to take care of that before you leave. We simply ask you are respectful with your pet and cleaning up after it so we can continue to allow other guests to bring theirs. PLEASE LEAVE NO TRACE. The house is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, beach towels, and paper products. Full kitchen. Basic cooking spices. Coffee maker. Back porch with Grill. We do not have cable, but have a ROKU TV set up, you must log in and out of your own accounts.
