PRIVATE POOL, hot tub, sauna, fenced & screened porch. 5 BRS - Captains Quarters (1st Fl/K), Seahorse Sanctuary (1st Fl/K), Hollywood Room (1st Fl/Q), Octopus Outlook (2nd Fl/K) & Sea Turtle (2nd Fl/2 TXLs). Dogs allowed - $35 per dog, per visit billed separately. In the woods between the ocean & the ICWW. More like a camping vacation than a high end beach resort. Expect lots of leaves, bugs, frogs, lizards & spiders. Owners closets, garage, & office not included. New hot tub 6/25 The space You will have access to 5 bedrooms and 3 full baths (one is outside), the pool/hot tub/dry sauna, multiple grills, screened porch, kitchen, living room and dining area that seats SIX (even though max guests are 10, dining seating area is smaller). The house is not shared and there will be no people or dogs except your group. This is my primary residence (when not booked), so there will be food in the refrigerator & counters that is shared with guests (see house manual). There are two refrigerators w freezers. There are exterior security cameras but no interior cameras. Guest access All areas except the office and owners closets. I live in this house when it’s not rented, so there will be food in the kitchen and refrigerator. Pool is open through most of the year depending on weather (ask in off season). Hot tub and sauna are open year around. Other things to note This is a quiet, residential neighborhood. This is not the house to book if you know your group is loud and wanting to make some noise. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Please also be respectful with the volume of your entertainment and voices - particularly after 10 PM. We work hard to keep everything clean. Expect the house to be clean upon arrival. Your cleaning fee is for checkout cleaning and doesn’t include any daily service. If you would like extra maid or pool service during your visit, we can arrange that per a pricing plan. The property is very tree covered and lies in very close proximity to the ocean and the intercoastal waterway - causing roaches, spiders, other bugs, lizards, skinks, and frogs. We have professional maid service, professional exterminators for inside and out, and mosquito treatment but you will still see some bugs inside and out. The outside spaces are much more like a camping trip than a resort. Expect to find leaves, pine needles, and branches in the pool. We work to filter, treat, and clean it on a very regular basis, but each time it rains or the wind blows, stuff falls. The outside shower also has leaves fall in it and just like all coastal houses, the wood is green or weathered in places. We have weekly pool cleaning, but because of the labor shortage, we cannot control what day of the week that happens. Please do not downgrade your review for these reasons. All dogs require a pet fee of $35 per dog per stay - due prior to arrival. Any damages will be billed at cost after stay. Please inform us of breed and weight for cleaning planning. Please pick up and dispose of all poop out in the green trash can by the mail box. There are dog bowls and dog beds around the house in the closets you can use. There is also a large dog crate in the Octopus Outlook room and a crate in the garage you can use. Don't miss getting a 7 day pass to the amazing Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington State Park, and Tidelands Health Center day passes - about a mile and a half away and is a great facility with everything from warm water pool, land and water aerobics, pickleball, racquet ball, basketball, day spay, weight equipment, etc . Pawleys Island Golf Carts will deliver and pick up carts for the short ride to Litchfield beachfront or Tidelands Health Center.
