Hi and thanks so much for considering us! We have a modest three-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath home in the heart of Elizabethtown, Illinois with amazing Ohio River views. Our small town friendliness and hospitality greets you around every corner as you relax on a quiet street within short walking distance of a waterside restaurant, local bars, and historic sites. We allow pets for a one time fee of 50.00 per stay whether you're with us for a day or a week or longer. A stay with us includes bottled water, breakfast bars and coffee. We also provide individually wrapped soaps and personal bottles of shampoo. Guests have access to the entire house. Three bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen, and a sunroom/game room. We are located less than 10 minutes away and are available whenever needed to answer questions or address any concerns that may arise. Our usual response rate is within minutes unless in the middle of the night! Our home is close to many great attractions in the area such as The Garden of the Gods recreational area, The Illinois Iron Furnace, and the Large Cave at The Cave in Rock State park. All of the Shawnee National Forest is of course close by for your hiking pleasure. While in town you can enjoy some locally caught fish right on the water at the E'town River Restaurant. Getting around is easy by car to all sites or parking areas for sites in the area. Some roads may be gravel but most are paved. The quality of the cellular signal is spotty in the Shawnee National Forest. Free Wi-fi is included at our home so signal can be had if set to use it for calls etc.
