The space Beautiful, renovated cozy contemporary basement suite of our home conveniently located just 7 minutes from the Air Force Academy south gate and easy access to I-25 for many more sights and activities! The basement apartment is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and has its own entrance with keyless entry and is private and secure from the rest of our home. Walk into the spacious living room with plenty of seating on the sectional couch. Connect to your favorite shows and movies with the 55" TV complete with a firestick. Board and card games are available in the closet for your enjoyment, as well as a separate desk/workspace should you need to get any work done. The Bathroom The bathroom is remodeled with plenty of counter space for your belongings and hooks to hang everyone's towels. The Bedrooms The king-sized bedroom is huge with a comfy king bed, twin bunk beds, and still plenty of room for additional pack 'n plays, etc. (we have a pack 'n play available as well). The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with a ceiling fan, separate from the other bedroom. Each room has a sound machine for your convenience as well. Kitchenette - Refrigerator/freezer - Keurig, separate 5-cup coffee maker, electric kettle - Toaster oven, microwave, crockpot, and two burner countertop hot plate - Dishes, silverware, glasses/cups, wine glasses, etc. - 2-burner infrared gas grill with tools for your use on the patio outside the basement apartment. The dining space regularly seats four, but we provide two extra chairs in a closet should you need them. Family-Friendly Have little ones? - Pack ‘n play with firm mattress - Baby bath, bath toys and baby wash - High chair seat and bumbo - Kids stool under bathroom sink - Toys and kids books for a variety of ages Please note that our family (2 adults and 2 young children) live upstairs which means we're close by should you need anything. Our home is a 2-story home with all of our bedrooms on the top level allowing the main floor to serve as an additional buffer in between our levels during the night. House Rules No animals, smoking, vaping, drugs or crypto mining. Guest access Free street parking in front of our home just ahead of the mailboxes. The private entrance into the basement unit is at the back of our home. There is a rock path leading from the road down the right hand side of our house to get to the walkout basement entrance. Other things to note Our checkout instructions are minimal so you can relax during your stay! We just ask guests to: 1. Wash/put away used dishes (or simply load and start the dishwasher and we'll put dishes away)! 2. Throw out used/eaten/open food prior to leaving. And of course, lock the door when you leave!
