Enjoy our 20x24 entertainment area, oversized deck, premium luxury mattresses, smart TVs, high speed internet, endless hot water and more! The space Our home has been carefully restored to its 1930's roots with modern updates. Careful attention was paid to preserving historic detail, but also providing functional modern living. Our home is nearly 100 years old, and as some vintage quirks, but equally we feel it adds to its charm. At nearly 3000 square feet, there is plenty of space to enjoy 16 guests. We are delighted to offer you premium upgrades including luxury mattresses (ghost beds, puffy lux, nectar, and more), Poly and Bark and Joybird sofas, dual water heaters wih tankless feature for plenty of hot water, high speed internet, smart televsions, dual refrigerator system, gas range, and dual laundry centers to make your stay historically modern. We have kept the historical touches including original floors, bathroom tile, and cabinetry full of Vintage dishes for entertaining. The home is full of unique vintage art, hand painted walls and antiques for your enjoyment. There are a few vintage quirks that you will want to review in the house manual, but we think it adds to the charm. Our home is next door to Miller's Brew, a coffee/smoothie pastry shop, and just down the street from the very popular Haymount Truck Stop - perfect for a bite to eat, a cocktail, and catching the game! Walk to Leclair's General Store for a fabulous experience in design and essentials, and then visit Curate for a wide selection of finds. We are steps from the Cape Fear Regional Theatre and their productions are an exceptional value - just a short two blocks away. If you pet needs a bakery treat or about anything during their stay, Woofgang is happy to help. Lattitude's Bar and Grill offer easy, American Style dining and an outdoor area to eat - catch trivia night for even more fun. All of this is within 2 blocks of our Historic Haymount Home. In addition to the spacious rear patio, we have built an outdoor covered area with Edison bulb lighting. This 20 x 24 foot space is perfect for your relaxation and enjoyment Guest access Guests enjoy the entire property to themselves. Our Home is on a smart lock and you will be given a private code. There are no shared spaces on the property. Other things to note We can accommodate small gatherings with pre-approval. You must contact us prior to booking for a small event. Our home has 100 year old bones and some natural imperfections. These are outlined in the home manual.
