The space Our quaint & rustic home will make you feel at ease while you relax and enjoy your time off surrounded by nature. Located in Snow Ridge Village on Jack Frost Mountain & National Golf course, our stand alone home is perfect for a quiet getaway with family & friends alike. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a loft bedroom (for the folks who can sleep through a little noise). The home offers heat throughout with separate thermostats to control separate rooms. We have AC in the main living areas with multiple oscillating fans for the main and upstairs bedrooms. If you can find at least 9 people you like to adventure with, this is the home for you. Whether winter or summer, the area offers multiple activities all year round. During the winter, you can hit the slopes directly from the trails located in our village (just a 5 minute walk with benches where you can to swap your sneakers for your snow boots). If you are more of a chill in the lodge kind of person, our cozy wood burning fireplace in our living room would be the place for you. It has the perfect vibes for game nights or hanging out; reminiscing about old memories while making new ones. During the summer, hang on either of our decks to enjoy the shaded warmth. On the back patio, you can make use of our BBQ and Adirondack chairs with cup holders for some burgers & beverages. If you feel like venturing out, Boulder Lake Club is the place to be. We are members and, if you stay with us, you only have to pay a small fee per person to use the club for the day. They offer plenty of outdoor activities including a trampoline on the lake, kayaks, pedal boats, and a heated outdoor pool & baby pool. Feeling hungry? Grab a bite to eat at their onsite restaurant, Boulder View Tavern. Even though the lake club can only be accessed during the summer, the restaurant is open all year round. Spring & fall offer amazing weather conditions for hiking the nearby trails. Closest to our home, a 13 min drive, is Austin T. Blakeslee Natural area. They offer picnic areas, grills, & plenty of tables to hang out at after you hike the trails to see the waterfall. There are some spots along the trail you can stop and take a dip in. If you feel like getting into the hustle and bustle, we are within a 30 minute drive to Mt. Airy Casino, Pocono Premium Outlets, Pocono Raceway, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge & the famed town, Jim Thorpe. These are only a few examples of what the area has to offer. No matter which season brings you here, we hope to help make your stay enjoyable and memorable. We offer two free parking spots directly in front of our house on the paved road. You must park facing the house but not on the grass, please. If additional parking is needed, you are allowed to park in Lot 12 located outside the Snow Ridge Village entrance heading towards Jack Frost Mountain. If you are leaving our village, make a left and it will be the first parking lot located on the left side. After parking outside the house, you will head down a rock lined path to the front porch with a comfortable sitting area. Once you walk through the front door you will enter our cozy, open floor concept home - consisting of the kitchen with bar seating, dining room, and living room equipped with a wood burning fire place and big screen tv. We have basic cable, high speed WiFi, and Apple TV with multiple streaming platforms available. Through the sliding glass doors you will enter our back deck area with Adirondack chairs and a brand new bbq - which is perfect for entertaining! Also on the first floor is the large master bedroom. Located in the master is another big screen TV with an Amazon fire stick. There’s a couch that pulls out into a futon for extra sleeping space. You will find no shortage of closet space as you walk through the double sided closets, to the private en suite master bathroom. The second floor consists of the loft hangout area with a TV and futon couch. A newly renovated loft bedroom is separated by a sliding barn door for extra privacy. The one side is still open to the living room. This room is perfect for heavy sleepers. As you continue, you will find another large bedroom with access through the closet to the additional bunk bed room. This room is perfect for a family with kids or anyone who doesn’t mind having to go through the connected closet to sleep on the bunks. Honestly, it feels like a secret hidden room! The second bathroom is located on the second floor as well. Guest access Guests have access to full stand alone house. In unit washer and dryer are for guest who are staying 3 nights or longer.
