Book a relaxing (or adventure filled!) stay at our lakefront property in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Grand Lake offers so much to do; hiking, boat activites, small town fun, a charming main street. Or relax at the house and enjoy the private dock, fishing, paddleboards and kayak, hot tub, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out yet still feel together. Located on Shadow Mountain Lake with a stunning view of Mount Baldy, minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. The space The town of Grand Lake is just 1 mile away and provides a classic 'old west' small-town ambiance and fun for the whole family. Stroll through town and visit local shops, dining, and the summer bingo nights, or rent a boat from the marina and explore the area on the water! The downtown also has mini-golf, horse rides, go-carts, and a great playground. In the winter there is a free tubing hill and cross-country skiing at the golf course, and more than 1,000 miles of snowmobiling trails throughout the area. Ski nearby at Granby Ranch or Winter Park. Perfect for family and friend gatherings, and business and wellness retreats, you will never want to leave! Our house is equipped with tons of entertainment options and yard games for all ages, as well as amenities needed for the kids to have their own memorable time. Enjoy the 8-person hot tub, games, toys, books for all ages, movie and music systems, stand-up paddleboards and kayak (weather permitting), snowshoes, etc. Upper level: Welcoming entrance, bathroom, two bedrooms each with a queen bed, laundry/ mudroom, and heated garage. Main floor: Primary bedroom with a king bed, powder room, beautiful gourmet chef’s kitchen with a large island and two dishwashers, great room with large TV and surround sound, dining space, and an additional laundry room. We stock coffee, teas, hot chocolate, flavored syrups, powdered creamer, and lots of cooking seasonings. Main floor deck: The large deck has a perfect view of Shadow Mountain Lake and Mount Baldy, and plenty of room for everyone with a large dining table, sectional couch and large chairs, a chaise lounge, and a gas grill. Lower level: Additional TV space/ rec room, two arcade games, foosball, a bunk room that sleeps up to 8 with an adjacent bathroom, one additional bedroom with a queen bed, bathroom, wet bar, and large sliding glass doors that walk out to the lower patio. Kids will have fun with a giant Jenga, games such as Magna-tiles and Lincoln logs, and ring toss. Lower patio: Enjoy the year-round hot tub, a table for 6, a kid's picnic table, and two Adirondack rocking chairs facing the water. We have recently added turf for additional recreational space and an enclosed split rail fence (perfect for containing your little kiddos or dogs). Enjoy our cornhole set, Spike ball, and more! Enjoy fishing or bring your own water toy to dock at our private dock. We provide a few stand-up paddleboards, a two person kayak, and tons of life jackets for you to enjoy on the water. Other things to note In an effort to be as transparent as possible, this is not the best fit for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. This is a 3-story house at a mountain altitude. We want everyone to be comfortable and enjoy their stay! Every bedroom has blackout curtains and fans if desired. There are security camera's on the exterior doors and garage only. Please note the boat house is not ours. Our dock is installed and available late May- late September, and removed during the cold season when the lake is frozen. The dock can be used to tie up your boat or jet skis during your stay. Parking spots for up to 5 vehicles.
