Luna Cabin - Private brookside cabin on homestead

Step away from it all into the quiet mountains of old Vermont where you'll find our tiny cabin nestled on the banks of our brook. Sway in the hammock by the private fire pit or head inside to curl up on the couch and revel in a sublime, uninterrupted view of the forest. This space beckons you back to simplicity, where you can breath deeply and let your soul smile. Cell phone gps tends to be ok.** * Also note that the cabin can sleep 3 adults max, or a family of 2 adults and 2 small children.* *Refer to our guide book for suggestions on where to stock up on food before your arrival (which we highly recomend as we are in a rural setting), as well as suggestions on where to grab a bite.* The Luna Cabin is to the right at the fork in our driveway. Please unplug porch lights once settled in for the night (plug is to the bottom right of the front door). The recently renovated cabin welcomes you with a large rustic porch overlooking the brook. Inside you'll find 250 sq. ft. of efficiently designed tiny home living. An L-shaped studio with separate bedroom and living areas, with a fully stocked kitchen area. See pics for details. Our hen flock has taken a hit but sometimes we will have half a dozen organic farm fresh eggs available for $4, just inquire if interested. One adult or child could sleep on the fold down couch, and a Lotus pack n play is also available upon request. Continuing up the driveway you'll see our main house, garage and our other cabin - Casita Del Sol. Behind the main house you'll find the chicken coop which houses hour hens and peacock Calypso. They roam free at various times throughout the day so please be sure to have all pets on leash at all times. Our current flock is mostly juvenile hens who aren’t fully laying yet so we won’t have any eggs available until the spring of 2026. In the meantime you can find fresh local eggs at the Chicken Wiggle or the Free Verse Farm shop as well as at most coops around : ) Guest access You will have private access to the entire cabin, adjacent parking spaces, and fire pit in front of the cabin. The rest of the property is shared space. Other things to note *Winter travel inVT means snow, ice and mud in early spring (March/April sometimes early May). AWD or 4WD highly recommended during these timeframes. During mud season (March/April), we will update listing availability and cancellation policy as necessary to accommodate safe road conditions.
