The loft contains two queen beds. Our property is situated on a corner lot and its multiple windows provide much natural light and if they are opened furnish the space with a constant cross breeze on all but the stillest days. This home’s modern design pays tribute to the mid century origin of the property with multiple period pieces of furniture and decor from the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. A bright color palette and geometric accents create a sophisticated but playful atmosphere. Nearly all of the furniture in the unit is time period appropriate and vintage, we hunted all over to find the perfect pieces for our pad, so please forgive the dents, scratches and marks that may mar their perfection, we believe they are worth it to keep them true to their original selves. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen bed, a large closet and a desk with a lamp and mirror to function as a vanity or workspace. This room has excellent views of the ravine as well as ample natural light. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, small closet and dresser with a mirror placed above creating a standing vanity. The side tables, dresser and headboard are all vintage pieces. The upstairs loft is styled as a kids space and is appointed with bright colors and playful décor. It contains two queen beds, some bean bag chairs, a television and a selection of books and toys to keep children entertained and give parents much needed time to relax or prepare meals. The kitchen is fully equipped to meet all your needs, with a 4 burner electric stove and oven, a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot and kettle. You will also find cutting boards, pots and pans, dining ware and utensils. The kitchen contains a coffee “nook” equipped with a coffee pot capable of full pot brewing or single cup brewing along with an electric kettle and an option of green or black tea, as well as coffee whitener, sugar and sugar alternatives, all available to ensure that you can maintain your favorite morning rituals, even when away from home. The bathroom has been redecorated to bring out the inner child in all of us and is decorated in a palette of pinks and blues, with flamingo accent wall and art chosen to inspire nostalgia and capture the imagination. The updated vanity light provides excellent lighting for all those self care moments that many of us start and end our days with. For our guests with children: Welcome! We offer a pack n play crib/ play yard, a high chair and a stroller for day trips. We also keep outlet safety plugs available for our guests to use as necessary. You have access to the entire house except for any locked doors (basement) Please do not allow kids to be unattended. Our home is located in a pleasant part of Niagara Falls right off the scenic Whirlpool St. The neighborhood is quiet and well kept and offers good views across the river. The nearest major grocery store is a 4 minute drive away and we are located a 15 minute walk along the Niagara Scenic parkway to De Veaux Woods State Park, which connects to Whirlpool State Park and contains multiple play grounds and points of interest for tourists. We have classified our listing as appropriate for babies and children, not because we have baby proofed every inch of it but because we offer amenities for families that we believe make it appropriate for families with children. However the unit is not fully baby proofed and is not safe for babies and toddlers to run free in unsupervised. Fitted sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases and towels are washed and sanitized with bleach after each check out. We provide linens and towels with no or minimum stains. Although we expect guests not to stain our linens and towels, accidents do happen, and we try our best to remove stains. Some stains are impossible to come off completely, no matter how hard we try [Bleach, Oxiclean, Vinegar, Stain treatments, you name it]. That's why on rare cases, you might find some light stains on the linens and towels. Rest assured that they are washed and sanitized with bleach. We only provide linens we feel comfortable using by ourselves. If this bothers you, please contact us and request for brand new bed linens and towel at additional costs. Duvet covers and decorative pillow/blankets are washed as needed. Please sleep in between fitted sheet and flat sheet, not on top of the duvet.
