As part of the village of Le Manoir, 8km from the landing beaches and the medieval town of Bayeux, we offer this 68m2 gite with 4 beds. 5km away are all the local shops. Our beautiful region offers many things to discover, you can also choose to take advantage of its calm, its greenery and its walking paths to recharge your batteries. The swimming pool, the Nordic bath and the tennis court will offer you the moments of relaxation you are looking for. The space THE 2026 EXTRA: BREAKFAST delivered to your door, optional, at a price of €12 per person. At Gîte de la Paix, you will find a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in a verdant setting. Close to the city of Bayeux, with its cathedral, tapestry, historic center, and amenities, you'll be ideally located to enjoy the charm of the Bessin countryside while having quick access to D-Day landing sites: museums, memorials, Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, Arromanches, Longues-sur-Mer, and more. Whether you want to immerse yourself in history, enjoy local markets and sample Norman cuisine, stroll along the harbors, or (re)discover the Côte Fleurie and its prestigious seaside resorts (Cabourg, Honfleur, Deauville, etc.), you'll be in the right place. You can, of course, choose to enjoy the many beaches while indulging in a delicious treat, as Gîte de la Paix is ​​located just 7 km from the nearest beach, providing easy access to all the others. Our 65m² cottage features a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor, complete with all the appliances you need for your stay: oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, large refrigerator with freezer compartment, extractor hood, kettle, toaster, traditional coffee maker and Tassimo pod machine, as well as a washing machine. There is also a relaxing living area and a toilet. Upstairs, you'll find two generously sized bedrooms with comfortable bedding, promising a restful and restorative sleep, and a bathroom that was completely renovated in February 2025. One bedroom has a double bed (160cm x 200cm), while the other has two single beds (90cm x 200cm) on divan bases that can be joined to form a double bed. A double duvet is available in the wardrobe for this purpose, in addition to the two single duvets. Each living area is equipped with a 4K smart TV (107 cm in the living room and 80 cm in the bedrooms) allowing you to access VOD and streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, etc.) if you have associated accounts. Grilling enthusiasts will appreciate the 47 cm Weber barbecue available on the terrace. Beyond the private terrace, you will have access to 5,000 m² of gardens which include a swimming pool, tennis court, ping-pong table, and Nordic bath. Guest access Travelers have access to almost all of the 5000m2 of the property: gardens, swimming pool, tennis court, ping-pong table, Nordic bath. The owners have demarcated the spaces that they wish to keep private by discreet black chains or wooden barriers. Other things to note Access to all our services is completely free, with the exception of the Nordic bath, which is available as an optional extra and by reservation only, in order to avoid inflating the rental price for guests who are not interested. We offer the following options: - Half-day for €25 - Full day for €40 Two half-days for the price of one full day, i.e., €40. Ideally, the Nordic bath should be reserved when booking.
