Welcome to Among The Stars- a tiny but mighty property located just 19 miles from the south entrance Yosemite and 10 miles from Bass Lake! A few characteristics we would love to highlight about the home include- NEW Stock Tank Pool (2x8 feet) with new deck added June 2023 • Sleeps 3- one queen bed and one twin bed • Hot tub is professionally serviced (which is rare in our area) and available year round • A/C and heating • Stand in shower someone well over 6 foot can comfortably shower in • Private wifi network (we have purchased the Vyve Broadband package up to 105mbps) • Smart tv- feel free to login to your own Netflix/Hulu • Propane Firepit • BBQ Grill • Log swingset • And most importantly...180* Panoramic Views of the High Sierras! This home is not elderly friendly, as you have to climb stairs to get into the lofts to sleep. It is mostly geared towards those guests seeking to explore all the area has to offer with a fun and memorable place to recharge. Stock tank pool is typically available in the summer and early fall months. It is not heated. The hot tub is available year round! There is NO lifeguard on duty for the pool/hot tub. Please use at your own risk. Home has a shared driveway but has it's own parking space (nearest homes are over 100 ft away and mostly out of sight). There is parking for 2 cars. Many of the local roads are privately owned and privately maintained. We appreciate you not exceeding the maximum parking limit. All bedsheets, pillowcases, bath towels, spa towels, and hand towels are all brought in fresh every single stay from a professional linen company. It's a major extra step for us, but very worth it to assure our guests are getting the most sanitized environment possible! When relaxing at nighttime, you'll look up and see why we named it "Among The Stars". Our entire team lives locally to the Oakhurst/Bass Lake/Yosemite area, and are here to help if any issues arise during your stay. We are very unobtrusive hosts and love to give our guests their space, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if anything is preventing you from having a 5 star experience! It`s all self check in with a door code we will provide you (no need to worry about meeting someone there!). As mentioned in the listing, the beds are loft beds. You must be comfortable climbing the indoor ladder to the beds. There is a two burner induction cooktop available if you need to cook (along with the outdoor BBQ). There`s also a Keurig coffee maker. Our English cream golden retriever, Darcy Pickles, might venture down to say hello at some point. Please let us know if she becomes an issue. She loves people! Fridge is not full sized, but bigger than a mini fridge and has its own freezer compartment. Ice maker available (advertises 6-7 minutes to make ice!).
