The property is in the middle of 40 acres of farmland. The property is also a working wedding venue, and the offices of the venue are in a small cottage across the driveway where staff may keep office hours. There may also be tours of the property's exterior for prospective couples happening during your stay, but the porches and interior spaces will remain private to you. The Barn is not available for use. Maximum people on the property is 8. The space Our space is unique in the sense that our farmhouse was built before Oklahoma even became a state! The moment you step onto our property, it feels like you've gone back to simpler times and you can let the rest of the world melt away for the duration of your stay. Be aware the doorways, floors, and stairway is original to 1908 when it was built, so not up to modern standards. The 5500 square feet of building space is divided into two separate units. This listing is for Unit A at the front of the property. Unit A has three bedrooms which are all upstairs. There is a queen-size air mattress in the downstairs closet and linens available to go with it. There is one full bathroom upstairs and one full bathroom downstairs in Unit A. Be aware that Unit B is a part of the same house and separated by 2 locked doors with keyed deadbolts. You may hear the residents of Unit B (if they are loud) and they may hear you. Residents of Unit B will have access to the pool and the driveway. You CANNOT book ‘EVENTS’ such as parties or weddings via our AirBnb. Nor can you use the barn space for ANY purpose. If you are looking to use our space for a party or ANY event or gathering with more than 8 people, you will need to contact "The Barn at the Woods" in Edmond Oklahoma. You may share the driveway and pool with guests from Unit B. Other things to note Our property's primary purpose is actually a wedding venue. We operate under the name 'The Barn at the Woods'. You CANNOT book ‘EVENTS’ via our Airbnb. Nor can you use the barn space for ANY purpose. We also reserve the right to conduct tours on the exterior portions of the property as well as to conduct photoshoots on the exterior, but we will never enter the house or the pool area during your stay.
