There is a peaceful easy feeling about this secluded point lot along the corridor of Lake Hartwell and Tugaloo river. Relax on the multiple decks, or in the gazebo, and enjoy the scenery and abundant wildlife. Watch the fish jump as you sit on the deck drinking your morning coffee. In summer, launch the kayaks from the floating dock and paddle up the lake to Longnose Waterfall. Throughout the year explore the local wineries, waterfalls and hiking trails. Go fishing, golfing, boating. The space 4,100 sqft house with 4 bedrooms/4 full bathrooms. Sleeps 14 with 4 queen beds, a single, bunk beds and a pull out couch. Basement has been renovated into an en-suite bedroom. Our house has a fully equipped kitchen with large walk in pantry, an eat at kitchen island with stools, and all stainless steel appliances including a water/Ice dispenser in fridge door and dishwasher. A double sided fire place leads you from the kitchen to the large lounge, with 70" SMART TV. The lounge is surrounded by windows and spectacular views. 2 sliding doors lead out onto the split level deck so you can enjoy the views inside or out. Off the kitchen is a dining room, with views of the surrounding natural beauty. The pool room has a full size pool table, with flat screen SMART TV and a gas fireplace. The laundry room and second kitchen is located at the rear of the house. There is a wrap around screened in porch off the back kitchen, gives beautiful sunset views in the fall when the leaves are down. We have a large Jenga game, cornhole and wooden ladder toss game, 2 bikes and various fishing rods. There is a large15X6X6 inflatable dock platform that can be blown up and attached to the floating dock. Guest access The entire house and 1 acre grounds are all yours for your stay. Some cabinets and spare fridge will be locked, with owner signs on them. Cabinets are labeled in kitchen to make it easy to find your way around. Access to the house is via a keypad and entry and access requires no contact with anyone. There will be a booklet for guests with local restaurants, shops, points of interest and a detailed summary how everything in the house works. Other things to note Located an hour and a half north of Atlanta, 15 minutes from Toccoa, 30 minutes from Seneca and easy travel distance to Clemson, Anderson, Helen and Walhalla. We cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is not allowed in the house. Toccoa is a short drive away and features various fast food and restaurant options and a fully stocked Ingles supermarket. Stephens county recreational area is only a few miles away and has a boat ramp to put jet skis or your boat into the water. When water levels allow you can tie a small boat and Jet skis to our floating dock. The lake front is owned by the royal corp of engineers and a permanent dock is not allowed.
