THE CHAUMIERE DE LA FORGE

Our cottage is located in the heart of a typical hamlet and a farmhouse 6 km from Étretat and 25 km from Le Havre. The Chaumière de la Forge welcomes you in the middle of a large wooded garden where you will find an indoor pool heated all year round as well as an old stable converted into a games room. The little extra relaxation for your stay: a spa and sauna await you in the house upon arrival! The entire house and its facilities, swimming pool, spa and sauna are private. The space This house is very special, it is the childhood home of my dad, my uncles and aunts, and also mine since I grew up there with my little granny, on the farm, in the garden, surrounded by everything that recalls the sweetness of a childhood in the countryside... It is made of memories, joys, sorrows and its soul will help make your stay unforgettable I'm sure! A little tour... On the ground floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen (oven – microwave – kettle – classic filter coffee maker and Nespresso coffee maker – toaster – dishwasher – large refrigerator and large freezer with two drawers and a small supply of basic condiments, towels and cleaning products will be provided), the living room and the lounge with the two fireplaces that you can use without worries, wood will be at your disposal, in the lounge there is a large sofa bed for the 9th and 10th person, a bedroom with a double bed with direct access to the bathroom and individual toilets. Not to mention the Spa area with the sauna and hot tub overlooking the garden! On the first floor, three bedrooms: one with a double bed and two with a queen size bed each and the largest equipped to accommodate a baby, a bathroom and separate toilet and finally a play area for the little ones. All beds are made before your arrival and you will each have a large bath towel and a hand towel at your disposal. Just don't forget your swimsuit and pool towels! Outside in the old stable, which has remained as it was at the time, there is a games room for all ages. Finally, the indoor pool area is heated year-round, the water between 28 and 30 degrees and the air at least 25 degrees in winter thanks to the bubble heater. Guest access The entire accommodation is private, you will have access to the 240 m² of the house and the 1,800 m² of garden just for you! Other things to note Pets are welcome at the cottage. As such and for more security, the entire garden is fenced in and once the gate is closed everything is secure! Finally, regarding your booking, during each school holiday period the cottage is to be rented for the full week and not just for the weekend or a few days.
