The space This charming duplex is thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. Here's what guests love most: Unbeatable location: A quick stroll to downtown Burlington’s best restaurants, shops, and sights. Immaculate cleanliness: This home is always sparkling clean and well-kept. Beautifully furnished: Stylish, high-quality decor creates a cozy and welcoming vibe. Comfortable sleeping arrangements: Accommodates 7 guests with 3 queen bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom. Need more space? Rent both sides of the duplex to sleep up to 15 people! Great value: Enjoy more space and amenities than a hotel—complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room. Relaxing backyard: String lights, outdoor seating, and a table make the backyard perfect for evening drinks or morning coffee. While our home is a wonderful place to stay, here are a few things to consider before you book: One Bathroom: There is only one full bathroom, located on the second floor. Many guests find this works fine for their group, but it’s worth noting if you prefer more than one. Older Home Charm: The staircase to the second floor is steeper than average and may not be suitable for those with mobility challenges. On Street Parking: When you arrive you will find 2 parking passes allowing you to park on the street, generally right in front. Layout On the ground floor you'll find: Fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to prepare meals. Living/dining room for relaxing or dining together. Two bedrooms: one primary queen and one medium-sized queen. Hardwood floors for a warm, modern touch. On the second floor you'll find: Two bedrooms: one queen and one twin. Single full bathroom. Carpeted floors, except the twin bedroom with hardwood. Additional Amenities: All beds have medium-firm memory foam mattresses which are new as of May 2020. Washer and dryer in the basement for your convenience. Guest access This home occupies the left side of a duplex, with its own private entrance. You’ll have access to the entire unit, including your half of the backyard. While the yard is shared with the other side, a partial fence provides privacy. We provide two on-street parking passes for your stay. Parking is typically available right in front of the house, but if not, nearby city parking lots are an option. Before your stay, you’ll receive a unique code for the front door lock. This code is active for the duration of your visit for seamless and secure access. Other things to note Please note that there is only one bathroom and it is located on the second floor. We have heard from some guests that they wish the place had a second bathroom but unfortunately adding another bathroom is not a possibility. Most guests find the space works just fine with just the one! Being an older home, the stairway to the second floor is steeper with narrower steps than typical stairs. These may be a challenge for older or mobility challenged guests to navigate. We try to make the bathroom and stairs very clear but are often surprised when guests mention this in their review. This house is a duplex, with this AirBnB occupying the left side of the building. It has its own separate entrance and you will barely notice the other half during your stay. The only time you may encounter the other occupants is when using the back yard (the other unit has access to half, this unit has access to half, but there is section of fence that mostly separates the two).
