Apartment "Λήδα" in the old town

A recently renovated 43 m2 apartment, which dates back to 1894. It is located at a quiet but yet vivid neighborhood of the old town. It offers the unique opportunity to experience the cretan way of living at the heart of the old town. Do check my travel guide for a glimpse of historic sites and more info on the area. It is up to you, to wander around the romantic and mystic alleys of the old town, so you can discover its hidden gems. The space The apartment is ideal for couples (with or without a child) or for a good group of three people. Entering the apartment you will see the kitchen on your right, the cloakroom on the left and right next to the kitchen is the bathroom. Further inside the apartment there is a larger space in which the dining room and the living room are located. Next to the dining room there is a wooden staircase that leads to the sleeping area where there is a queen size bed (160 x 200). In front of the living room is the balcony where you can relax while enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon drink. Guest access The property is consisted of two apartments that share the same entrance from the main street. Right next to the lock of the main entrance there are two lockboxes, one for each apartment. You will be given instructions once the booking is confirmed. Once you take the keys from the lockbox, you will open the main street's entrance on the ground floor, and you'll see a concrete staircase that will lead you to a small lobby at the first floor. The apartment is on your left hand side as you go up the stairs. Τhe apartment is private and is meant to be used exclusively by the people who booked it and only by them. Other things to note In the summer season, which begins 1st of April and ends 31st of October, the area of the old town (this applies to Agias Varvaras street as well, where you will find the main entrance of the apartment) is pedestrialized for most of the time during the day. During that period, cars are allowed through the old town only from 6am to 11am while the promenade road is closed for cars from 8pm till 12.30 am. More or less the same applies in winter season (november till march) where cars are allowed from 6am to 12am. However, in winter season there is no car restriction for the promenade road. There is a certain way of collecting the garbage in the old town. You will be given instructions once the booking is confirmed. It is not allowed to leave your litter bags on the street. They have to be inside a specific bin. Please note that you have booked an apartment in a family business. There is great joy in hospitality when the guests are happy and satisfied, therefore, I really want the guests to feel comfortable with the flat, but at the same time I kindly ask you to please treat the property with respect as if it were your own.
