Rita - Winery/cidery farm stay 10kms from Denmark

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located on a working winery, cidery and farm 10kms from Denmark. Ideal for couples or families who want a self contained base to explore the area and be close to nature. There are 3 chalets located on the property at Turicum Chalets. Built in the early 80s we have been welcoming guests for nearly 40 years. The space Rita is a free standing two bedroom weatherboard chalet built in the 90s. It has an open plan living and dining with woodfire and exposed trusses. The living room and outdoor deck has lovely views over the valley and towards lights beach. Self contained kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals - oven, microwave, fridge, pots and pans etc. Two bedrooms - one with a queen and the other with 3 singles. Bathroom has a shower only - we are on rain water so please always be mindful of shower times and there may be less pressure occasion then what you are use to coming from mains water. Wood is provided as a heating source - if it’s hot outside and you like the aesthetics of a fire just think again whether it’s really a necessity Your basics to get you started are provided such as toilet paper, coffee etc but if you use it up please purchase more yourself. Guest access The whole chalet Other things to note We are a working farm, winery and cidery. We are 10km from Denmark on a 200 acre property so you will have lots of wildlife and farm animals as your neighbours. Our cellar door is within walking distance and it’s only a short drive to the Beach. There is no wifi and the phone reception in Denmark if you are not with Telstra can be a little touch and go.
