Cozy, quirky two bedroom cottage right on the Cold River. Perfect for a solo retreat or a romantic couple's getaway. Colorful artwork and textiles make this a unique space, yet modern amenities make your stay comfortable. Quiet, private spot, but close to art galleries in Center Sandwich and The Barnstormers summer theater in Tamworth. Tour the Tamworth Distillery, hike in the woods or simply relax by the river. This cozy cottage is set up to provide a quiet haven for one or two people. You have access to the entire cottage during your stay. There is one closet which is locked, which is where the owner keeps supplies. I live nearby, but respect that you are renting the cottage. I will not invade your privacy, however I am available by phone or text should you have any questions. This is a rural area. Along with the beauty of rural New Hampshire, there are also some things to be aware of. You may encounter animals such as deer, fox, raccoons, etc. The woodland critters are the reason that food should not be left outside overnight. There also may be (depending upon the season), insects such as mosquitos. Please keep the screen doors closed to help any insects remember that they belong outside! Also, we are on a well for our water. You may notice a different taste or odor on occasion due to the mineral content in the water, and no chlorine! A car is required in order to get around.
