We hope to host you on the picturesque Allegheny River in the historic town of Franklin. Private river access! Feel at home with our fully equipped kitchen, organic coffee, quality linens and soaps. Sit on the porch with your morning coffee, have a fire(wood provided) read a book—there’s something for everyone! Downtown is minutes away, offering shopping and dining. For cycling or kayaking, the Samuel Justus Bike Trail is a few minutes’ ride, Oars Kayak Tours is steps away. The space Sunrise Views on the Allegheny | Spacious Upper Unit Enjoy beautiful river views from nearly every room and wake up to stunning sunrises over the Allegheny River in this peaceful upper-unit retreat. Relax by the fire pit (firewood provided), or kayak the river with OARS kayak and canoe rentals located just steps away. Guests have sole access to the main floor and upstairs of this riverfront home with its own private entrance and no shared walls. The space is connected to the lower unit by a basement door that is locked from both sides for privacy. The only shared space is the backyard along the river, which offers plenty of room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The yard features an upper and lower yard with two fire pits with complimentary firewood provided. Quality cotton linens and plush towels are provided. We use non-toxic, fragrance-free cleaning products and laundry detergent, and all pillows and mattresses have protective encasements for cleanliness and comfort. Kitchen The kitchen is well stocked for cooking meals at home, including: • Quality non-toxic cookware • Spices and basic condiments • Microwave • Keurig and drip coffee maker • French press & tea kettle • Dishware and flatware Coffee and a variety of teas are provided. Other Things to Note Well-behaved, house-trained dogs are welcome. • $85 pet fee • Maximum 2 dogs under 50 lbs • No cats Pets must be included on your reservation. Unregistered pets will incur a $100 fee per pet. Additional cleaning due to pets (carpet cleaning, stains, or damage) may result in a minimum $175 cleaning fee or replacement cost. Pet guidelines: • Pets are not allowed on furniture • If left alone, pets must be crated or kenneled • Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste properly House Rule ABSOLUTELY no smoking, vaping, or drug use indoors. Evidence of smoking indoors will result in a $500 fee. Guest access Guest will have sole access to the main floor and upstairs unit of the home, with its own entrance, street parking, kitchen, washer and dryer, and is connected to the downstairs by a door that is key locked on both sides. The back yard and fire pit areas may be shared if other guest are staying downstairs. Some additional amenities that we provide to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.. complimentary wood for our guests to use. All linens and towels are provided. Kitchens are well stocked with most of spices you’ll need for cooking, coffee/coffee pot, variety of teas. Other things to note We’d love to host you at our peaceful getaway. The always eventful Franklin Pa is famous for its beautiful, historic downtown bike paths, amazing fishing, stunning hikes, unforgettable canoeing and kayaking Allegheny River and French Creek tours offered at Oars conveniently located next door.
