Main Street Suite - Millpond Inn B&B

Completely refreshed in 2020, Millpond Inn sits in the historic district of the Village of Clarkston. Our Main Street Suite is named after the street the home sits on, which you can see from the sitting room. We've taken this bed and breakfast that originally opened in 1994, and modernized for our guests. We provide a continental breakfast in your suite, or you can visit one of several restaurants and cafes in nearby downtown Clarkston. The space The Main Street Suite has been recently refinished and is our only suite featuring a gas fireplace. The appliances, linens and most of the furniture are new! This is a wonderful space for relaxing by the fireplace or enjoying a meal at the dining room table with friends. In the backyard you will find a BBQ for grilling, tables to enjoy a meal outdoors and a relaxing hot tub. This outdoor space is shared with other guests at the Inn. Continental breakfast includes: pastries, fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, breakfast bars, Keurig coffee, and tea. This space feels very welcoming and opening for families with kids as it is the only suite featuring twin beds. You can enjoy views of the Mill Pond from the back yard or take a short walk to downtown Clarkston to visit the many great restaurants in town. Guest access Parking is limited at the Inn so we provide you with one parking spot for your stay. If you have an additional vehicle let us know and we can arrange one additional spot for you if needed based on availability. Downtown is a short walk away. We recommend walking to downtown rather than driving if you are able due to limited and paid parking downtown. You will also get to see the beautiful historic homes in the village if you choose to walk downtown. Other things to note For an accurate rate, make sure you enter the correct number of people in your party. The rate that defaults in the system is based on 4-person occupancy. Each additional guest over the age of two is $50/night. If you are planning to have additional visitors drop in, make sure that you comply with the guidelines that are provided in the Rules section. We do not allow events ie: birthday parties, dinner parties, wedding parties, etc. at the Inn. Please send us an inquiry if you have any specific questions regarding events. Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP. Please read the guest manual before arriving. It includes important instructions about parking, how to manage the heating and cooling in the suite, and recommendations for restaurants as well. If you need the pack n play, high chair or booster seat please let us know upon booking as these are provided on an as need basis when requested. We aim to provide a peaceful and scent-neutral environment to ensure that each guest experiences a healthy, comfortable, and enjoyable stay with us. Burning, vaporizing, smoking, diffusing, or cooking anything that leaves a distinct odor after your departure or finding any drugs or evidence of partying violates this policy and will result in a $250 restoration fee. Smoking is STRICTLY prohibited anywhere on the property or inside the suite.
