This Market has an onsite butcher, they cut their own choice steaks, and grind their own choice beef. They even make their own sausages on site. if you go around lunch time, they have hot, grab and go chicken, brat sandwiches and cheeseburgers. * The Dollar General discount store is also open 7 days a week til 8pm * Alta Gas station and convenience store is open from 6 a.m til midnight, they have a good selection of necessities, including a beer cave and they sell Colorado souvenirs. next door is a large liquor store with a nice selection of wines, including all labels of THE WINERY Wine. They also have cool T-shirts and souvenirs. * Checkout the various wineries near the home, including the famous "Winery at the Abbey" in Canon City - enjoy a tour and some wine tasting...it's a true delight for the wine enthusiast. The neighborhood is a very peaceful and quiet rural setting, there are donkeys in a nearby field, you may hear them braying from time to time. The neighborhood is more of a development, so there are no stores in the area , however Canon City, Penrose and Florence are all less than 20 minutes from the property. Canon City is the largest town, and has more variety for grocery stores, convenient stores, and other dollar type stores The home is in an HOA. Though houses are spread apart, noise carries. We ask that you respect the neighbors and refrain from playing loud music or having raucous parties and get togethers. We want you to have fun and enjoy our home, just be aware of your surroundings. Outside lights are to not be left on once the sun sets, doing so is a violation of HOA rules. There is a neighborhood watch. If the watch notices any violations, they will notify us, and we will then have to report to AirBNB . Thank you in advance for respecting the HOA The best way to get around is via an automobile; unless you prefer biking. 1. The floors are tiled with Granite & Marble and can be very slippery when wet. Please mop up spills quickly to avoid falls. when exiting the tubs and showers, please use caution to avoid slips and falls. 2. Follow the guidance for standard Hot Tub use. 3. There are towels and sheets for pets, in the laundry room. please don't use the guest towels for pets or cleaning messes. 4. There are beach towels for hot tub use. please only use swim suits in the hot tub as dyes and soap residue can alter the water & ph 5. There is playground equipment outside. please do not leave young children unattended, please supervise and watch children at play, at all times, to avoid accidents and injuries. 7. when the steps around the property are wet, please use caution, to avoid falls, as they can be slippery. 8. Please supervise young children while using the climbing wall in the kids bedroom. There are separate beach towels for the hot tub use. Please shower before getting in the tub, regular clothing is bad for the PH. We ask that you also test the chlorine levels, for your safety. Follow instructions on the bottle before entering the tub. * Please leave the hot tub on at all time * There is also a sand box area,be aware, the hot tub tends to get sand from the high gusts and the sand box, so please keep the lid down when not in use. *Please wipe feet as best before entering. * Please keep settings between 102 - 103 when not in use . *For your safety 104 is the maximum heat level, please use caution if you have heart & health issues ****Do not allow children in the hot tub, unattended. Follow rules and regulations for your safety.
