With two queen bedrooms and a loft for extra sleeping space, it’s ideal for families or couples. Watch orcas and eagles drift by, enjoy your morning coffee, and finish the day roasting s’mores around the firepit as the sky turns gold. Just a short ferry from Seattle, you’ll feel worlds away while still close to everything. The space Our family has made memories here for years, and we’re excited to share it with you. Whether you’re craving adventure, slow mornings, or a waterfront reset, Sunset Shores makes it effortless. When the tide is low: Hunt for sand dollars, sea glass & driftwood Walk for miles along the shoreline Explore tide pools and hidden pockets of the beach When the tide is high: Launch kayaks or SUPs (rentals on the island!) Watch wildlife up close as the water reaches the bulkhead Sit back with a blanket and let the waves do the talking Just remember: tides on Vashon move fast—bring any toys/boards up onto the bulkhead when not in use. Back at the house: A lawn perfect for kids’ games or a quiet read A charcoal BBQ for long summer dinners A wood-burning fire pit for crisp PNW evenings Multiple seating areas designed around the view A cozy wood-burning stove for fall + winter warmth (easy instructions provided!) Inside, the home sleeps up to 8, with two queen bedrooms and a loft that kids (and adults) love. It’s simple, comfortable, and all about the experience of being right on the water. Guest access The whole place is yours to relax, unwind, and have fun! This is a walk-in waterfront home. Cars are parked on the right side of the driveway, and you’ll have lit scenic stairs that will take you down to the entrance of the home on the right side at the bottom of the stairs. Please note there is a light switch at the top and the bottom…please turn off when not in use. Other things to note This is a walk-in home. 90 steps down to your own private stretch of Puget Sound. The kinda place you have to earn - and never want to leave. No parties or loud gatherings. We love our neighbors and ask you to help us keep the peace. The property sits directly on the Puget Sound—beautiful, powerful, and ever-changing. Please enjoy it responsibly.
