Gorgeous cabin with breathtaking forest view of the mountains and trees all around. This beautiful mountain home is situated on 3 acres and well furnished with all brand new essentials. You could enjoy one of the best mountain views in the area from the large deck, or do birdwatch in the day and stargaze by night. Only a short drive from Redding, Lake Shasta caverns, Mt. Shasta, Lassen and so many more beautiful places to explore year round! It is the perfect place to get away, rest & relax! The space Our cabin sits in the mountains with very quiet neighborhood, pls respect that and enjoy the peaceful moments away from all city chaos. The main family / living room has an open to structure design with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows, a gorgeous wood burning fireplace, power reclining sofas with drop down table, 65 inch Sony Smart TV, xBox, Roku and popular board games suited for both kids and adults. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand new Samsung stainless steel smart gas range, toaster, microwave oven, large fridge, other appliances and all basic kitchen utensils & supplies. There is a fully stocked Tea/Coffee/Snack corner with coffees, teas, sweeteners to make drink how you prefer it. We also provide pantry essentials such as salt, pepper, oil, chili and filtered drinking water. There are 3 bedrooms with 4 beds. We provide a king size bed in the ample master suite with standing desk and leather sofa, there is also a large walk-in closet and a full bath. You could open the sliding door to enjoy the deck from master room directly. The other two bedrooms have queen size bed, queen size bed plus full size bed each and share a full bath. All beds and beddings are brand new and well tested comfortable, we hope to provide you the best sleeping experience. Whether you're planning to play in the lake, hike a near volcano, fly fish in a world-class rivers or simply spend some time among the woodpeckers and hummingbirds, we can't wait to host you. Guest access The house is less than 10 mins (less than 2 miles) from I5 exit and located at the end of a dead road, note the last mile is unpaved. Outside, there is plenty of room for parking boats, RVs, side by sides... bring all the toys! There is also a smart lock on the front door for your easy self checkin. Other things to note ~No party, No smocking. ~ Quiet hours to not disturb neighbors please - between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, and between 10:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Outdoor amplified sound is strictly prohibited during quiet hours. ~ Open burning is banned all across the county w/o permit due to weather conditions and air quality reasons. Penalties including fines and CRIMINAL CHARGES may be brought up if one was to start up a fire. ~ The location is beautiful, quiet and somewhat remote. Cellular signal is spotty but we provide high speed WiFi you can rarely find in the mountains. The bandwidth is similar to the cities so it’s perfectly fine to stream, video chat or work from the house. ~ The house is on a septic tank so please DO NOT FLUSH ANYTHING EXCEPT TOILET PAPER down the toilets. We also DO NOT have garbage disposal in the kitchen sink due to the space occupied by the in house water filtering system so pls do not dump any solid food. Trust us, you do not want your vacation ruined by a backed-up plumbing system. Also please only put the tumbler glasses on the top rack of the dishwasher if you were to wash. ~ Note we provide evaporative (swamp) cooler through the house but NO central AC, which is newly installed in 2019 and works great in dry areas like Lakehead. It provides comfortable temperature and keep the house quiet which our guests love a lot! During winter seasons, we have fireplace and all house has furnace controlled by Nest, it will provide you a warm stay. ~ There is a small grocery store in Lakehead which has all the essentials you might need. The closest supermarkets like Walmart, Safeway, Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, etc are in Redding about 20 minutes south on I-5. We highly recommend guests pick up groceries and supplies in Redding before driving up to Lakehead. ~ A maximum of 2 household pets are allowed on the premises with an additional fee. ~ Please respect the wildlife around you. You might spot deers, wild cats, bears and various types of birds. Please give them their space and keep a safe distance. Do not feed any wildlife. ~ Forest fires are common in the summer and fall in Northern California. Depending on wind direction, you may have smoke or haze that come into the area. Avoid the Shasta area this time of the year if you are sensitive to smoke.
