The space Bedroom 1 is a master with a king-size bed, 3/4 bathroom, and full-size closet. Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed and full-size closet. Bedroom 3 has a queen-size bed and a view of the water. There are two bunkbeds downstairs. Guest access You will have full access to the entire home, hot tub, expansive decks, as well as a private beach. If you’re feeling ambitious, paddle around the entire island in about 1.5 hours. Play outdoor games in the yard or on the beach. Take a short 10-minute walk to the island playground, which includes a pickleball and basketball court, then continue on to one of two public beaches. When you're ready to wind down from your day, pour yourself a drink, fire up the grill and enjoy the spectacular view from the huge deck. Turn on the fire pit and enjoy some fabulous star-gazing. Soak in the hot tub. Come inside to play ping pong or enjoy a game or puzzle. In the morning, help yourself to a cup of coffee from the coffee maker or French press, and enjoy the beautiful sunrise. You may see deer walking along the beach. This is a tranquil place to disconnect for adventure and relaxation, which means there are no grocery stores, gas stations, or restaurants on the island. Be sure to get any groceries you need for your stay before you get on the ferry in Lakebay. We keep the kitchen well stocked with cooking basics. Cellular reception is limited and the Internet can be a bit spotty. The ferry is $25 round trip, which includes the car and driver. Additional passengers are $5 per person. Only cash and checks are accepted. The ferry schedule is included as the last listing photo. Our on-island host will connect with you to help ensure your arrival is smooth and hassle-free. There is a mooring at the house if you plan to arrive via your own boat. Please let us know if this is the case so we can provide you with boater instructions. We have a strict 6-person limit due to the size of our septic. If you have a party larger than 6, please consider also booking our second property, the Otter's Den, which is just a few houses from this one, and also has beach access. IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CHILDREN: Please note that while we welcome children, this home is not child-proofed. For example, we do not have gates on the stairs, or plugs in the electric outlets, or child safety locks on the cabinets.
