The Goldey House is a unique Tudor-style cottage in Huletts Landing on Lake George. The home and property are something out of a fairytale, resting on an acre of green lawn surrounded by the majestic white pines of the Adirondack State Park.  Walk five minutes down the hill to a walkway that meanders through a fern and cedar grove before it gives way to a private lakeside patio on Lake George. Here, you can relax in the sandy bay and enjoy water activities of your choice. The cottage has knotted pine paneling throughout with slate floors in the kitchen and hardwood on the main floor. There are two bedrooms on the main floor with a shared bathroom and an additional two bedrooms with another shared bathroom upstairs. The living room has plenty of seating and space for guests to enjoy. There is a fireplace, rocking chairs, a couch, and overstuffed chairs. There are also shelves of books and a record player with a cabinet filled with albums. The eat-in kitchen has a large farmhouse table, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and a stove/oven unit. The spacious outdoor deck is adorned in wisteria vines and features a sizable patio table and a barbecue for outdoor dining and entertaining. The backyard features a smokeless fire-pit and five Adirondack chairs. Enjoy star gazing or picturesque views of the woods. Down the street are stairs and a walkway leading to a private lakeside patio. There are four chaise lounge chairs and a patio table with chairs. Enjoy the most beautiful sunsets on the lake! You can walk all over the landing - there's a public beach, post office, ice cream shop, marina and bar. For those of you who enjoy the great outdoors enjoy local Adirondack State Park trails including Black Mountain, Spruce Mountain and Elephant Mountain. There is also camping on Lake George's State run islands. Use the canoe to visit the nearby ranger's station. There is a driveway with parking for three vehicles.
