The Hangar, a one of a kind custom repurposed cargo container getaway atop Lookout Mountain, Georgia. The Hangar is named after its unique design to resemble the hang gliders that occasionally pass by from the nearby hang gliding flight park. Perched on the western brow, The Hangar features unforgettable sunset views. Cloudland Canyon State park is nearby where you can hike to beautiful waterfalls or visit Chattanooga, TN The space The Hangar features a functional kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, one-eye cooktop, and convection microwave, full bathroom with tile shower and several additional amenities listed below. This mountain retreat is a true place to relax and meditate, therefore there is no television. There are 2 shared fire pits located at each end of the property. Firewood is provided along with ingredients to make s'mores. Also outdoors, you will find a pizza oven and a charcoal grill. We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking in case you need to cancel outside of our cancellation policy for any reason. The travel insurance covers severe weather and other unexpected trip interruptions. If you choose not to purchase the insurance please be sure you have read and understand the cancellation policy. Other things to note This tiny house is ideal for 2 guests but will sleep up to 4 with the fold out memory foam queen mattress in the open loft. The main bedroom is also open to living room with no door for an open floorplan. There are gravel steps coming down from the parking area, making it not suitable for someone with mobility issues. This rental is not suitable for pets or children under the age of 13, as it is situated on the bluff of the mountain. Minimum age to check-in is 21. There are 3 cargo container tiny homes located On The Rocks. Each rental has 1 assigned parking space. There is no additional room for extra vehicles. On The Rocks does not permit indoor smoking, parties, or events.
