The space Our little piece of heaven is one of the 11 houses that share 2 Lakes on the Island, isn't this great?? You will have the chance to interact with many native and migrant animal species while walking to the Lighthouse (8 min), remember, you will be sleeping in a Nature Reserve... Guest access Our valued visitors have access to everything in the house, you have to consider that this is my main residence, and you will find a bunch of my personal belongings, however, if you need something from my kitchen to cook or do laundry that you forgot to bring, just take it... Please be reasonable with the noise and reunion times, my neighbors will appreciate it... Other things to note Water Information & Island Living Welcome to island life, where nature is beautiful, the skies are endless, and things run a little differently than on the mainland. Our home uses a well water system that draws from Lake Erie, and it’s treated through a multi-stage filtration process including two sediment filters, two carbon filters, and UV light technology. We also conduct routine water testing in accordance with the Windsor Health Unit to ensure water quality and safety. While the tap water is safe to use, we recommend boiling it before drinking or cooking, just for added peace of mind. To make your stay more comfortable, we provide: One 20-liter jug of filtered drinking water If you need more drinking water, you can refill at the Potable Water Fill Station (available 24/7) or visit the Pelee Island Co-Op. Please note: Living on an island comes with its own set of challenges. Supplies, services, and repairs can take more time than on the mainland, and resources like water and electricity require more care and attention. We appreciate your understanding and patience, it’s all part of the charm of Pelee Island.
