The space One of the unique features of this cabin is its location—and the drive in, which includes crossing a creek. While the cabin itself is small, the setting more than makes up for it. Surrounded by dense forest, flowing creeks, and even a nearby waterfall, it offers a truly peaceful and relaxing escape. This is a traditional log cabin with a few modern touches for added comfort. If you’re looking for something sleek and contemporary, this may not be the right fit. But if you appreciate simplicity and want a rustic mountain retreat, this cabin is the perfect choice. Just a quick heads-up: if multiple couples are traveling together, please note that the loft is open (not enclosed) and includes a queen bed and a daybed. In the living room, you’ll also find a sofa with an air mattress inside. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin and entire property. Please review the check-in instructions for the door pin, directions to the house, and parking restrictions due to creek water levels. You will be required to traverse a gravel road to reach your destination. This road is quite bumpy so do not drive any sports cars or low profile vehicles. Contact the hosts if you require more details about the road leading to the property. Other things to note A few notes and safety tips. Please read notes in it's entirety before booking. Pet Fee is per stay. Please notify us if you are bringing more than one pet. 2 pets max. An SUV, truck or car with high clearance is recommended due to the private 1/2 mile gravel road that is very bumpy and uneven. Please park car in designated parking area and use pedestrian bridge if creek water level is too high. The Cabin Loft along with a very narrow spiral staircase make it difficult for people with limited mobility. If you have physical limitations, small children, mobility issues then please evaluate the house restrictions and potential safety concerns before booking. The spiral staircase is extremely narrow and may be difficult to climb for some people. Carrying large luggage up the stairs is challenging. Cabin is not really suitable for small children because of safety concerns. Loft and stairs can be very dangerous for small children that are overly curious and like to climb. The loft is not enclosed so you'll have very little privacy if you have multiple people. Air mattress is located inside the sofa. Lawn care personnel will visit occasionally and dates and times are not set. Please allow them to complete their work regardless of the day they arrive. We value our returning guests.
