Relax under thatched roofs The apartment is located in a quiet Frisian courtyard - the "Herrenhof" - at the end of Wrixum. Surrounded by a spacious garden area with many fruit trees and wild roses, it offers a beautiful view over the marsh. A furnished apartment (55 sqm for 2-3 people) awaits you. The friendly apartment under a thatched roof delights guests in summer with pleasant coolness and in the winter months with a cozy warmth. This is typical of thatched houses. The "Nordseekrabbe" apartment with separate entrance is on the 2nd floor: 2 rooms, kitchen, shower room. It was designed in warm colors so that you can relax in a loving atmosphere. From the living room, our guests have a wonderful view of the marsh. The sofa in the living room could also be used as a sofa bed if needed. In the friendly bedroom with a large double bed, you will be awakened by the morning sun. The separate kitchen with dining table invites you to cook for yourself. (Stove with ceramic stovetop and oven; dishwasher available). The shower room is modern, bright and spacious and has a large window. Baby bed and highchair can be provided free of charge if needed. The apartment includes its own garden area with beach chair (in the summer months) and a Scandinavian seating set as well as a fixed parking space if you arrive by car. As guests, you can also use the common meadow with shady fruit trees. There is also a play area for the little ones. The location is also very suitable for train travelers (with bus connection from the port, Wrixum-West stop) A nice bike path leads right by the house. From here you can take beautiful bike tours to the island villages and the wide landscape on quiet paths. The village of Wyk with its harbor, promenade, many small shops, restaurants, wave pool, mudflat protection station and the long sandy beach overlooking the Halligen can also be reached by bike in less than 10 minutes... In Wrixum itself, within walking distance of the apartment, there is a bakery, restaurants, two cafes and various bicycle rentals.
