Vast open spaces and panoramic views of the Pitons and the Caribbean Sea make this tropical two story villa a true gem. La Bagatelle's style is understated chic: white walls, antique beds, designer cotton fabrics, dark wooden floors polished to a mirror finish and a large patio and private pool. La Bagatelle has 2 large ocean view bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and an ocean view cabana room upstairs. The space The two story villa is located along a ridge 400 feet above sea level on the hillside approximately one mile from Anse Chastanet beach and three miles from the town of Soufriere. It is fronted by a six foot stone wall and two arched gates which offers plenty of privacy. The upstairs is an open floor plan offering a 180' view of the Caribbean and the Pitons with a spacious living room and dining room with the cabana area on one end and a hammock on the other end. There is a parlor room before entering the fully equipped kitchen. The private swimming pool area has sun loungers and a shaded patio. The downstairs has two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and panoramic views of the Carribean from the balcony. The villa is surrounded by a variety of beautiful and colorful tropical plants that rivals the local botanical gardens. There are also many fruit trees and plants including pineapples, mango, banana, papaya, guava, avocado, lime, orange, lemon, pomegranate, soursop and coconut trees. The Villa staff consists of Alvin, the caretaker/concierge, and Vern, the housekeeper/cook. Their work hours are 9am to 1pm on Monday-Friday. They do have flexibility in their schedule. Guest access Guests are able to access all areas of the villa except the basement. Other things to note Quoted rates are based on 1-2 persons per night. Additional guests are $65 per person per night including children and infants. Daily housekeeping and some cooking services are included in the rate. Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch is included in the rate. Dinner preparation and cooking is offered for $10 per guest. Guests are responsible for the food items. Grocery shopping can be performed by Vern for $20US. Laundry service is offered for $20US per load. Your first nights' dinner is complimentary and features your choice of fish, chicken or vegetarian with local vegetables. There is a guestbook that provides suggestions and rates for restaurants, tours, transportation and other nearby activities. The staff is also available to help with planning your activities and transportation. Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach towels, snorkeling equipment, beach umbrella and coolers are provided.
