ComfyDome Glamping Hill-Side Site!
Situated on a cozy little hill, you'll be elevated above all the other domes, affording you a "royal" view of the landscape! With a clear view of the sprawling fields, you'll frequently be the first to spot the family of deer that visit ComfyDome. Your heart will be filled with joy at the sight of the newborn fawns walking through the grass. You'll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty on all sides and ample open space to enjoy your site comfortably! The space Please note that pricing does not reflect the cost of bedding! Thank you for inquiring! I want to make sure you know about our linens process. If you're interested in participating in our Blue Sheets Club, you will need to bring your own bedding, which can be as simple as a sleeping bag and pillow. If you choose to participate in the club, your visit will cost the shown price. However, if you prefer to use the linens and bedding provided by us, an additional flat fee of $95 will be charged to your reservation. Save on the sheets and splurge in the streets! We created Blue Sheets Club for two reasons. 1. The cost of laundry, labor, and maintaining bedding is very expensive. 2. Businesses that do laundry daily use a minimum of 6000 gallons of water per ton of laundry, which is achieved quickly, depending on the size of the business. A 100-room hotel can easily use a million gallons of water or more each year on laundry. If you can't find the dates you want, we have 2 other domes on Airbnb! Forest-Side & Pond-Side If you're a first-time glamper, a semi-retired camper (and you don’t want to deal with a tent or sleep on the ground), or just looking for a quick overnight getaway, ComfyDome is the perfect choice! ComfyDome is an off-grid glampground designed for those who seek comfort and convenience without sacrificing the experience of being in nature. Each dome is equipped with solar power, which can run most small appliances. Solar reduces our carbon footprint and minimizes our impact on the planet. Our solar energy system, while significant, can sometimes be unpredictable on cloudy days. To keep our guests comfortable during peak temperatures, we have installed shade traps that can be opened or closed as needed. We strive to embody the essence of glamping: glamorous camping in nature. Our focus is on immersing our guests in the natural environment and allowing them to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them. Nature is the heart of our existence, and we think it should be enjoyed in its purest form. ComfyDome amenities: It’s time for a digital detox! Although the main house has Wi-Fi, we are off-grid to help guests connect with nature. Great pricing and dynamite customer service! Please make sure to complete the pet waiver before arrival. Guest access There is a heated shared bathroom near the domes. The shower is near the main house. From May to October, there is an outdoor shower available 24/7. The main house is about 300 feet from ComfyDome; guests can follow a pathway when needed. Other things to note Maine has experienced lots of wet weather lately. This means the fields are too soggy to drive in, so guests will need to park at the main house and walk to their Domes which are just a few hundred feet away. We have carts for you to use to carry your gear and we are always willing to help carry items! We recommend that you bring warm boots that are preferably waterproof to keep your feet dry when walking to your Dome. We also recommend that you bring winter clothes such as a winter jacket, gloves, winter hat, and rain gear just in case!
