Description

Situated on a cozy little hill, you'll be elevated above all the other domes, affording you a "royal" view of the landscape! With a clear view of the sprawling fields, you'll frequently be the first to spot the family of deer that visit ComfyDome. Your heart will be filled with joy at the sight of the newborn fawns walking through the grass. You'll be surrounded by stunning natural beauty on all sides and ample open space to enjoy your site comfortably! The space Welcome to ComfyDome! If you're a first-time glamper, a semi-retired camper (and you don’t want to deal with a tent or sleep on the ground), or just looking for a quick overnight getaway, ComfyDome is the perfect choice! ComfyDome is an off-grid glampground designed for those who seek comfort and convenience without sacrificing the experience of being in nature. Each dome is equipped with solar power, which can run most small appliances. Solar reduces our carbon footprint and minimizes our impact on the planet. Our solar energy system, while significant, can sometimes be unpredictable on cloudy days. To keep our guests comfortable during peak temperatures, we have installed shade traps that can be opened or closed as needed. We strive to embody the essence of glamping: glamorous camping in nature. Our focus is on immersing our guests in the natural environment and allowing them to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them. Nature is the heart of our existence, and we think it should be enjoyed in its purest form. ComfyDome amenities: It’s time for a digital detox! Although the main house has Wi-Fi, we are off-grid to help guests connect with nature. Great pricing and dynamite customer service! Sunshade that covers the dome (Late May - October) Comfortable and clean accommodation! Usage of our private 13-acre grounds! Fire pit and two grill styles! Solar power for small items (charge your phone, laptop, and run a fan) Outdoor chairs and a small side table Outdoor umbrella shade Picnic Table Firewood onsite (for sale) Shared bathroom facility and outdoor shower open 24/7 from June-October. World-famous (according to my daughter) homemade Maine blueberry muffins and coffee on the last day of your trip! Add-Ons available: - Kayak rentals $40 per guest per day - Inflatable paddle boards $45 per guest per day (Availability limited) - Camp cooking equipment $50 per trip (only two available per stay) What's included: Deluxe campfire grill, cooking utensils, pots, frying pans, cutting boards, mixing bowls, plates, BBQ Grill Gloves, Cutting gloves, Knives, and dishwashing station. The best part is when you're all done at the end of your trip; we will clean it all up! - Space Package 127mm telescope, which is perfect for exploring the moon, and the SkyMaster 15x70 Astronomy Binoculars w/ tripod is ideal for the stars! $50 per stay - Coffee and Cast-iron breakfast cake (for 2 people) $25 - Glamping games available upon request: Corn hole, Giant Jenga, and Ring Toss, along with an assortment of card and board games. First come first served. What to bring: (Summer clothes, bug spray, sunscreen, cooler, food, phone chargers, and toiletries) What we provide in toiletries (We provide soap, shampoo, and conditioner) We love and welcome pets! Please make sure to complete the pet waiver before arrival. Guest access There is a heated shared bathroom near the domes. The shower is near the main house. From May to October, there is an outdoor shower available 24/7. The main house is about 300 feet from ComfyDome; guests can follow a pathway when needed. Other things to note Maine has experienced lots of wet weather lately. This means the fields are too soggy to drive in, so guests will need to park at the main house and walk to their Domes which are just a few hundred feet away. We have carts for you to use to carry your gear and we are always willing to help carry items! We recommend that you bring warm boots that are preferably waterproof to keep your feet dry when walking to your Dome. We also recommend that you bring winter clothes such as a winter jacket, gloves, winter hat, and rain gear just in case!
