Shore Thing Shoal Bay is a private & luxurious escape, only 1-min walk to Shoal Bay shops, restaurants and to the beach. Only a short walk to Mt Tomaree & many other National parks walks & rides. Shore Thing is located at ‘The Shoal Apartments’ ~ on Bullecourt Street, Shoal Bay. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Shore Thing is located on the 3rd floor, this apartment is one of the largest apartments in the complex. Every room is spacious and extremely comfortable. The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning and heating in all of the rooms, it offers comfort and sophistication. You will love it the minute you walk in. Entering the apartment you are greeted with open plan living areas. A well equipped modern kitchen offering a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, stove top and a dishwasher. There is a dining area and an extremely comfortable lounge. With beautiful floorboards throughout and stylish down lights, the apartment offers a large flat screen Smart TV in the main living room and another flat screen in the Master Bedroom. It has Wi-Fi, and a large balcony that pleasantly over looks the backstreets of Shoal Bay. There is a gas BBQ and a DVD player. Bring along your dvd's or gaming console to easily connect to the TV. There is also a selection of board games to play and books to read. The main bedroom features a King size bed, good sized built in robe, desk space and flat screen TV. The second bedroom is ideal for the kids. It has a set of Tri bunks and a separate double bed. Enough room for everyone. It can sleep up to 5 in this room. The apartment also features an en-suite and second bathroom both offering showers, toilets, and vanity. There is also an internal laundry with washer and dryer. We provide all linen and would kindly ask if you look after it like it was your own. All the beds will be made upon your arrival. If more than the specificed beds are used you will be charged an additional $50 per bed. The only thing we ask is that you bring is your Beach Towels. Other features include a secure car space and in the low season you might be lucky to get the visitor space. If not, there is additional free car parking at the front of the unit complex, all day. Guest access You will be met on arrival and given the garage roller door buzzer and 2 keys to the building. If you are arriving late at night you will be given an address to pick the keys up - 5 minute drive from your apartment. We ask that you leave the keys on the bench when you leave. Take a picture and send it to your host. Alternatively you can return the keys to a letterbox locally. Bonds will not be returned until the keys are. Other things to note Situated one street back from popular Shoal Bay Beach and to many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Shoal Bay beach is a lovely pristine beach good for swimming and you can hire Kayaks and paddle boards in the high season, school holidays and at Easter. We are so close to the Jetty! Always fun to jump off, make sure its safe and you are jumping off on high tide. There are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km's away) and to Fingal Bay (4km away.) Bike hire is available in Shoal Bay. There are also a selection of beautiful walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park. We especially love the summit of Tomaree Mountain, it offers spectacular views over Port Stephens and the Bay. Important Note: This property will not accept school parties or group bookings of any sort and has a strict no party policy. All guests may be contacted after booking to discuss the intention of your stay. Any noise complaints from neighbours during your stay will result in eviction from the premises, and no refund of monies paid.
