Description
- No Ferry Boat Required! Simply drive over the bridge from Stanwood - Experience Tiny House living and Glamping all in one in this unique studio space - Drive to the island life just one hour north of Everett - Beachcombing just steps away - Sip your morning coffee and evening wine overlooking Mt Pilchuck and Port Susan Bay - Enjoy watching eagles, seals, whales and herons from your vantage point on Camano Island - Plenty of outdoor space to be 6 feet apart from others The space This unique tiny "Bunkhouse" is actually a 5'x13' space on the ground floor of our house and it includes its own private entrance, a large picture window, tiny kitchenette and half bath. Think of it as a camper without wheels, or a fancy tent with solid walls and indoor plumbing! The tiny kitchenette and camping cot bunk beds, combined with the outdoor shower and beach-side grilling, dining & lounging area, make this unique space a great way to experience beach life, glamping and tiny house living all at the same time! Please note that because the indoor space IS tiny, guests spend 95% of their waking hours outside (like you do when camping) relaxing by the water, enjoying outdoor activities and exploring the island. Features Include: - Beach-side outdoor grilling, dining & lounging area - Kitchenette with microwave, Keurig, coffee mugs, wine and beverage glasses, disposable dishes and utensils - Over-sized cooler for your ice, food and beverages - Outdoor shower with hot water and Waterpik shower head (intended for rinsing off in your bathing suit - not your birthday suit ;-P ) - No TV, but WiFi is available - Bikes and kayaks available for use at your own risk Guest access - The beach - Beach-side Grilling/Dining/Lounging area along the bulkhead - Outdoor shower Other things to note - There is no indoor tub or shower. There is an outdoor hot water shower available to rinse off like you do at public beaches. It has no shower enclosure so don’t forget your bathing suit or everyone will see your birthday suit! You can always go for a swim if you prefer to clean up like the whales and the fish do. Otherwise, a good ol' fashioned sponge bath in the tiny sink serves as the glamping way to freshen up! - The Bunkhouse and outdoor areas are separated by a one lane street so please watch for passing cars - especially the silent electric ones. In addition to the light car and Amazon delivery traffic throughout the day, folks walk and ride bikes along the street, all of which makes the outdoor grilling/dining/lounging area sporadically private. The close quarters and friendly neighbors make our lively beach community a great place to experience living like a local! - There are two houses being remodeled/constructed nearby so there may be some additional noise associated with them during the day. - There is one parking spot for a compact to mid-sized car - Full-sized vans and extended cab trucks will not fit in the parking spot - There is no space for tents, campers, RV's, camper vans, or motor homes
