Other things to note Lutherstadt Eisleben is a town in the district of Mansfeld-Südharz, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is known as the birth and death of Martin Luther. In honor of the city's greatest son, Eisleben has been nicknamed "Lutherstadt" since 1946. The Luther Memorials in Eisleben and Wittenberg have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996.[3] Ice Life is a member of the Luther Cities Bundle. The Lutherstätten in Eisleben and Wittenberg became the Luther Memorial Foundation Eisleben stretches over an area of about 25 times 10 kilometers, as several surrounding municipalities have been incorporated. The largest district is Helfta with the monastery revitalized in 1999. The core city is located 30km west of Halle (Saale) in Mansfelder Land. From a morphological point of view, Eisleben is located in an elongated lowland tongue, the Eislebener Niederung, in the southeastern part of the district. The urban area through the Evil Seven is characterized by agricultural land. Between Unter- and Oberrißdorf, the landscape rises to the altitude of the Mansfelder Platte, the city area covers the main part of this landscape. The southern part of the city is traversed by the wooded Hornburger Sattel mountain range, while the southernmost district of Osterhausen is almost in the Helmetal. In the city area there are several streams, in the core city, for example, the bad seven. It arises as a confluence of seven streams from the pre-resin and is called evil because its flood waters used to be particularly devastating. The Evil Seven drains east to the Sweet Lake. Another small river is the Schlenze in the north, it rises in Polleben and then flows to the northeast to the Saale. The slope can also rise sharply during floods. The smaller streams are the Glume, which rises south of Helbra and flows east of Eisleben into the Evil Seven, and the Laweke, which rises in the district of Hedersleben and then drains to the east. The valley of the Hegebornbach to the south of Volkstedt is scenically beautiful, this stream rises west of Volkstedt, then flows through the village and then flows east of Eisleben into the Glume. The most important body of water in the south is the Rohne, which begins at Bornstedt and flows through the district of Osterhausen.
