Beautiful thatched roof house in the countryside on the edge of the Göhrde. Spacious accommodation with 2 living areas, 3 bedrooms and a workplace with fast Wi-Fi. The associated garden with south terrace and awning invites you to breakfast and relax. On the ground floor is the living and dining area. The long wooden table is suitable for eating and playing together. There is a sofa and TV available. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a children's paradise and 2 single beds. The space About an hour's drive southeast of Hamburg, about 6 km from Hitzacker, lies the small village of Tollendorf, nestled in the beautiful landscape of Göhrde, the largest contiguous forest area in northern Germany and hunting ground of the last emperor, which is still largely undiscovered by mass tourism. At the same time, Tollendorf belongs to the Elbhöhen-Wendland Nature Park, which borders the Elbe in the north and includes the picturesque town of Hitzacker. Tollendorf is a farming village with approx. 70 inhabitants, in which the old village structures have been preserved for centuries. On the edge of the village is the farmstead Tollendorf 12. It was the 12th farmstead of the village and therefore bears this house number. The house numbers do not run in an orderly ascending or descending order, but rather you can take a historical-chronological discovery walk through the village on the basis of the house numbers. The house is beautifully located on the edge of the village. The wide horizons and the rural tranquility instantly provide free breathing and relaxation. The associated garden with south-facing terrace, awning and parasol invites you to a sunny breakfast and to relax in the country air. On mild summer evenings, you can look forward to the typical concert of frogs in the nearby pond under a magical starry sky (it gets VERY dark, even the street lights go out at 11:00 pm!). Garden furniture and sun loungers are available, including soft upholstery. Unfortunately, barbecuing with a charcoal or gas grill cannot be allowed due to the thatched roof. The comfortably furnished holiday home under thatch can accommodate up to eight people. On the ground floor is the spacious living and dining area equipped with wooden floorboards. The long wooden table invites you to eat and play together, and a sofa and TV are available to relax. In addition, there is the well-equipped, high-quality Bulthaup kitchen – where ambitious chefs can also enjoy themselves – with a small seating area and exit to the sunny terrace and the 600 m² garden, as well as a bathroom with washing machine and a bedroom (double bed). Upstairs, in addition to two bedrooms (double beds) and generously sized closet areas, you will find a beautiful lounge area, which we have designed as a children's paradise. There are also two more single beds available. There is also a small desk corner (for those who cannot or do not want to stop working...) and another bathroom. The Wendland itself offers you with the Elbe meadows and its extensive meadows – and forest areas endless possibilities for walks, hikes or bike tours, a riding opportunity (also for children) is only a few kilometers away. Hitzacker invites you to stroll through the old town with its charming half-timbered houses and offers shopping opportunities from the supermarket to the well-stocked health food store. Guest access The house is divided into two parts, the old threshing floor with the adjacent stables is permanently rented, the tenant takes care of the handover of the keys and is also available for questions and concerns of the holiday guests. The old living area with about 130 m² is the half of the house for the holiday guests. Other things to note In the upper living room there is also a workplace that can be used by guests. The accommodation has a 50 Mbit Internet connection, which is shared with the neighboring apartment.
