Here you will also find Trollveggen, the highest vertical rock face in Europe with 1000 meters. Åndalsnes opened a gondola lift, Romsdalsgondolen, in 2021. On the way up, you can enjoy a 365-degree view of Romsdalshorn, Vengetindene and the beautiful Rauma River. Nearby is also Stigfossen, an impressive natural stone bridge. Rosenes by, Molde, is definitely worth a visit and is just over an hour from the cottage. Deep in Eikedalsvatnet is hit one of the highest free waterfalls in Northern Europe, Mardalsfossen.
