While cozy, at just under 700 square feet, the Avalon Beach Bungalow is one of the last remaining original Bungalows in our OBX housing stock. The place was re-designed in 2017 with an open flow to provide our guests a modern coastal living experience all while maintaining its original 1950's bungalow charm. Older beach bungalows, like this, can come with some imperfections. All of our fresh & clean custom vacation homes feature: •Quality Linens + Bath Towels •Upgrades & Renovations •Professional & Attentive Customer Support •Pre-Arrival Quality Assurance Check •Pet Friendly & Easy to Clean Surfaces Indoor Bathroom: We have one bathroom inside - no tub - that features a small glass-enclosed shower and a multi-use shower head. Outdoor Shower: Most of our guests favorite place to shower is outside in the vintage masonry enclosed outdoor shower. This enclosure is very private and comes with a refreshing "rain shower" head for those hot summer beach days. In the winter months our guests can enjoy the warmth of the small wood burning stove that makes this time of year to visit more special! As local owners, we are passionate about coastal living and enjoy the opportunity to share our beach homes we love so much with our guests. Reserve Now! To confirm your stay as availability does go quick :) Housekeeping, Maintenance, Inspection & Cleaning Notes: We believe a very clean & functional home is of the utmost importance for our guests upon arrival. Between each guest stay our beach homes are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized & inspected. All of our in-house housekeepers are trained in our proprietary ‘Sparkling Clean’ cleaning process. Our staff also includes a full-time licensed Builder, so if an unlikely maintenance issue does occur, you can feel confident it will be fixed fast! As further commitment to delivering an exceptional stay a ‘Quality Assurance Inspection’ occurs prior to arrival. Pet Friendly Guidelines: We are pet friendly to responsible pet owners with dogs who are good travelers. Pet fee is $50 to bring one dog. If interested in bringing more than one dog, just ask! We have hosted more than one dog in the past so it may be possible. Please note: • Pet fee does not include excessive pet hair removal, stain removal on fabrics or droppings pick-up Guest access Guests have access to the entire home and property. For those, that enjoy clean laundry, like us, we have a washer + dryer set up in it's own laundry room. Other things to note Check-Out Expectations: We invest a lot of time, money and effort to deliver exceptional stays for our guests. If deliberate damage, disrespect or lack of basic cleanliness (including excessive hair if bringing a dog) is identified during the check-out inspection process, the guest of record will be charged to compensate needed cleaning and ensure the property is ready for incoming guests.
