It is a short walk to town and beach. There are two entrances, one upper and one lower, for convenience. The lower entrance is quicker to town, but it requires a 50-meter walk on a 40-degree hill. The upper is a little longer, but its slope is more gradual. Bring your own adapters for other voltages and plugs. **Power outages** are a fact of life in Sayulita, especially in summer. Generally the power is restored quickly. There are emergency lights and flashlights available. **JUNGLE CRITTERS** You may spot iguanas, geckos and various insects — they’re part of the Sayulita experience! Scorpions are rare but possible. Avoid leaving food out to minimize unwanted visitors. Food left on the counter will bring ants for dinner. ** HOUSEKEEPING** Housekeeping will be provided once a week (upon request), provided that your stay is 7 days or longer. If less than a 7-day stay, housekeeping will be provided for a US$50 charge.
