Cozy & tucked away in a woodsy environment, this area stay has something for everyone. The first of four area springs (Blue, Poe, Ginnie, Ichetucknee) is 9.5 miles away. Scuba/snorkeling/kayaking/nature trails/antiquing/brewery/restaurants/ice cream shop nearby in this charming outdoorsy town. FB Fans-UF BHG Stadium is 24 miles away. Smoke-free home. We have 3 bedrooms/2 baths (Bedroom #1 King bed, Bedroom #2 Queen, Bedroom #3 Queen plus one twin daybed. We also have 1 pull out twin couch-the blue plaid one). We do have capacity to accommodate up to 8 guests however, 6 is ideal. If you have additional guests, please let us know. **Extra cleaning fees may apply as bedding laundry time will naturally increase. We offer late check out on Sundays to get the most out of your weekend get-a-away :) Full Kitchen with pots/pans/dishes/soap/salt/pepper/cooking spray Dishwasher with soap Laundry Room if you need it with soap Extra linens ** If you are used to sleeping with a top sheet, this is available in the linen closet. We do wash all comforters in between stays. We have 1 TV located in the home (Living Room) with ESPN/Disney/Hulu access. We do have wifi as well. While this home sits on 6+ beautiful acres, guest access is ONLY for the home itself, back porch with white entrance door, small pole barn with propane BBQ grilling area and closed fire pit. **Guests are not permitted in the following areas for various of reasons: -The front uncovered decking area of the home is off limits for now due to some uneven areas/need for some remodeling work planned for Spring 2023. The back porch view is much better anyways :) -The 2 green buildings (old shed, shop/barn) is also off limits. -Any gated area (Please do not open/enter into any gated areas). -The donkeys. Though their cuteness/friendliness makes it tempting to feed/pet them, we are unable to allow guests to do so due to liability issues. Please do not enter areas with donkeys. As with any animals, they can be both predictable and unpredictable. Caleb (the dark one) and Elvis will kick each other from time to time and have kicked at people/other animals (dogs especially) if they feel threatened. ****Please note: Caleb and Elvis will also make attempts to mate so please be mindful if you have littles watching. ~Thank you for your understanding~ Feel free to reach out anytime you have a question or need something. Scenic canopy oaks, farming crops/animals, wildlife, a photographers dream. Old Bellamy Road is also a historic marker conveniently located near I-75, exit 404. Vehicle preferred or bicycle into town if you are up for it! We aren’t able to supply bicycles at this time, possibly in the future. Country Critters are not for the faint-hearted. This home is in a woodsy environment which means we have different types of critters such as snakes, spiders, bugs, raccoons, foxes, armadillos, coyotes, rodents, scorpions, ticks, etc. that may or may not live on or nearby property. We have frequent pest control inside the home particularly however, it is nearly impossible to combat all insects/bugs inside the home due to the nature of them. ****On occasion, you may come across a bug/spider inside the home (hopefully dead), if you do come across a live critter, please just let us know so we can call the pest control to come back out. Also, be mindful of ANT BEDS on the property as well as large banana spiders especially if your littles are outside playing/running around. The dirt road to access the property is drivable by most vehicles, but as with all dirt roads - there are some pot holes especially after heavy rains. While minor repairs are done throughout the year, annual maintenance is typically done in the fall (after the rainy season ends). Please do not do anything to worsen the road conditions. No open fires allowed (we have a closed fire pit for your use). Water is well (odorless) No hunting on/near surrounding property allowed (this too might be tempting for some with all of the wildlife that will be encountered however, it is strictly forbidden for multiple reasons). Please just enjoy the beautiful scenery :) Please note that this home is also our vacation home. We do bring our dogs up sometimes when we visit. Though we would love to house your pets, we have found it difficult to ensure that shedding hair is not an issue for future guests.
