Tastefully decorated unit perfect for a relaxing retreat. Great for couples, travelers, or girlfriend getaways! Ground-floor unit (2-story unit with upstairs available for additional charge, otherwise not rented). Queen bed + sleeper sofa. 55" TV w/Showtime. Massage chair. Internet available but spotty due to rural location. Large private hot tub and firepit surrounded by woods and corn! Firewood provided at no charge. Plus a new sauna when outside temps are above 40°F. The space This unit is similar to a "studio". Large, open-concept, with a bed, massage chair, couch (sofa sleeper) and kitchenette. Please note there is not a stove or oven in this unit. There's a mid-sized refrigerator, keurig coffee maker (coffee, decaf, hot chocolate, and tea bags provided), and a microwave. This is a clean, comfortable haven. The outdoor space consists of a semi covered back porch with table and chairs, a newly installed sauna (summer 2025) with lights, blue tooth, and radio, a large beautiful hot tub with mood lights, a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid), and a fire pit (firewood is provided, no charge) that is very private and secluded! Guest access There is one locked closet which houses cleaning supplies, linens, etc.- otherwise the guest has access to the entire unit. There is a private back yard- surrounded by woods and corn fields, where the private hot tub and firepit are. The front portion of property is another Airbnb property (The Getaway House). It is separate, and private, from this unit. Other things to note Turkey Run State Park, Shades, and Raccoon Lake State Park, Rose Hulman, and Indiana State University are all 20-30 minutes away. The brand new Terre Haute Casino and multiple dining options are also within 30 minutes. A short 2-3 mile distance to Rosedale's Dollar General, gas station, small hiking trail, coffee shop, a tavern, and a little restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Rosedale has its own historic covered bridge and is in the heart of Parke County's widely-known Covered Bridge Festival each October.
