Parking for up to two cars is available directly in front of the cottage. Entry is keyless, allowing for a smooth and flexible check-in process. They value a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, so we aim to keep foot traffic in the area to a minimum. Property Boundaries: Please stay within the property boundaries to respect the privacy of our neighbors, who value a quiet and peaceful environment. Foot traffic around the neighborhood should be kept to a minimum. We have nearby hiking and walking trails, which are listed in the guidebook. You’ll also find a property boundary image in the listing description to help guide you. Internet & Cell Service: The cottage is located in a peaceful, secluded area with limited cell reception. However, high-speed Wi-Fi is provided to keep you connected, and Wi-Fi calling is supported. While rare, occasional service interruptions may occur due to our internet provider. We appreciate your understanding. Water Quality: Our cottage relies on a well water system, which is typical for the region. The water is treated with a filtration system, but due to the high mineral content, you may occasionally notice a slight sulfur smell. Rest assured, the water is safe to use and drink. The kitchen is equipped with a reverse osmosis filter for crystal-clear drinking water. Garbage Disposal: Due to local wildlife and rural ordinances, we do not have outside garbage containers. We handle trash removal after your stay, but if you need assistance during your visit, simply let us know and we’ll arrange a pickup. Nature & Pests: Our cottage is surrounded by nature, offering tranquility and scenic beauty. We take regular pest control measures, including a monthly subscription to Terminix, to manage bugs and rodents. However, as with any rural property, occasional encounters with insects or wildlife are possible. If you experience any issues, please reach out, and we’ll do our best to address them promptly.
