The space Great Location Although on the waterfront and steps to the gates of Point Pelee National Park you are only a ten minute drive from the grocery stores, beer & liquor stores, restaurants and shopping in Leamington. Property The Lake House has a 50 foot frontage directly on the lake. Fulltime homeowners live are on either side of the property. This is not the place for parties or noise as we want to respect our neighbours. It is a great place to take in the horizon, listen to the waves and watch the sunsets. Spacious Bedrooms This three bedroom lakefront home has three large bedrooms with four beds (king, queen x2, double) sleeping eight people with the option of using sofa beds for 2 more people. All three bedrooms are spacious with luxurious duvets (both synthetic and goose down) and white, crisp linens. The mattresses are comfortable and new. There is no shortage of pillows, so you are sure to find one to suit your needs. Romantic King Bedroom- for a romantic getaway let the waves lull you to sleep in this large lakefront bedroom with king bed, chandelier, electric fireplace and sitting area. Walk out to your private balcony overlooking the lake. Enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the beautiful views of Lake Erie. Mural Bedroom- across the hall is a second large bedroom with both a queen and a double bed. This tranquil room boasts a hand-painted wall mural mirroring the view of the lake. Both bedrooms share a bathroom with shower, shaving and magnified make-up mirrors, fluffy towels and luxurious bathrobes. Fireplace Bedroom- the third spacious bedroom is on the ground floor. Relax in the queen bed as you enjoy the romantic stovepipe gas fireplace. This room also has a washer/dryer & hot water heater that are hidden behind a wooden screen. Next to the ground floor bedroom is a four-piece bathroom featuring a double soaker/jacuzzi tub. Each bedroom (and the living room) has its own temperature control for A/C & heating. Kitchen & Living Room The fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar includes a dishwasher and has all the supplies and kitchenware for cooking meals. The dining table can easily seat eight people. Outside is a gas BBQ ready to grill your favourite foods. The living room has two comfortable couches that pull out into queen beds in front of a gas fireplace. The large TV gives you complimentary access to Netflix, Prime TV, YouTube etc. and also receives U.S. & Canadian channels by antenna. A DVD/Video player is available along with a choice of movies. Other Features Internet is available throughout the house. A smart speaker is in the living room to answer your questions or play music requests. Desks/work areas are located throughout the house. For laundry needs, a washer and dryer are in the main floor bedroom. The property is directly on Lake Erie protected by a break wall and large boulders. The sundeck is a great place to relax and enjoy the view over the water. A ladder provides access to the lake when the water is calm, but be careful because the rocks below are very slippery. Go in at your own risk. This is not recommended for children. In the evening you can gather around the backyard firepit. The Lake House has a selection of games, puzzles & books or use the binoculars and bird identifier guides for some bird watching. The property has parking for three cars. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home except for one closet and some cupboards. Other things to note This is a waterfront property directly on the lake. There is no railing or fence between the property and water/rocks below.
