Located in the heart of Washington, Missouri, the Brick House is on the main drag conveniently close to several vineyards, the river and many stores. The space Formerly known as the Brick Rose Beds and Donuts, this five-bedroom historic home was originally built in 1895. It was once a personal home for over 100 years and the MILQ room (mother-in-law quarters) was a veterinary office for over 50 years! It was used by 2 different veterinarians during that time. What was previously a loving family home, then a veterinary clinic, is now a cozy, unique vacation rental for all of our guests to enjoy. When walking up to The Brick House of Washington you will be welcomed by the large, beautiful historic home. Going through the main doors you find yourself in the entryway with a perfect view of the living room, and from there, the dining room. Past the dining room you will find the kitchen and a doorway to the MILQ. For those looking to have their own separate area, this is the perfect area! On the 2nd floor you will find 3 bedrooms (each bedroom has 1 king bed) and on the 3rd floor consists of 1 large space with 2 king sized beds. We offer bathrooms on every level of the home. Outside you will find the inground pool as well as the hot tub. Guest access Our guests have access to the entire home with the exception of the basement and a few closets. Other things to note Please know that this hot tub has no jets, it is just temperature controlled and is open year round. The pool is not heated, therefore is only open from May-October weather permitting. Due to the restaurant next door and hot summer months we recommend guests bring their own bug repellents as well citronella candles. Sorry, we do not accept pets. We require guests to have at least 1-2 positive reviews on their profile before booking with us.
