Whether you are shooting pool or sitting by the fire you will feel right at home. For safety it is not advised to swim in the canal but we provide kayaks, paddle boards and a paddle boat that can be used to get to a shallow swimming area only 15 minutes away in Sage Lake. large 65 ft shared dock for fishing or parking your boat The space Our home is located in Hale, Michigan approx 30 minutes to Tawas Point State Park on Lake Huron. The home is situated on a large lot that faces the canal which provides a good amount of privacy and is ideal for kayaking, paddle boards (that can also be used as kayaks with attached seats provided) and the paddle boat. The home has a large 65’ shared dock. Feel free to bring your own boat or there is a boat rental near by the canal is about 36 -42 inches deep and wide enough for boats to pass. Other things to note Please note, the docks in front of the home are shared docks. Please contact us if you plan to bring more than one boat.
